Really? I don't know how people who saw the k-drama want to see the anime. Crazy I could never rewatch winter sonata. Sweat

Great news if you want to see one of the best dramas of the season/year.

Just found this site which has straight d/l for The Swallowed Sun and as well links to Haru's subs. I d/l one and it is the same high quality that I bought from Hong Kong in 16:9. No need to worry about BT seeders and eternally slow download speeds. Applaud

"The Sons of Sol Pharmacy House" (aka "My Too Perfect Sons")

I'm coming up on the hard part now. I have 50 of the 54 episodes and I've been so focused on just getting the episodes I didn't notice how many of them I was watching as I got them.

Well, I only have 5 episodes left to watch... and not having a new episode of this show to turn to when I'm tired, or annoyed, is going to chafe. (And no, leaving the last few episodes unwatched is not a clever idea.)

The cool part about being this far in is that I'm getting to see, know, like more Korean actors and actresses. I went into the show already deeply and spiritually in love with Yu Sun. But that was about it. However, other members of the cast keep popping in up in the Korean movies I've been watching... and it sort of gives me a rooting interest in them.

I was working on another show for a while there. "All In", but it wore me out after about a dozen episodes. A bit too much melodrama, a few too many romantic "ships passing in the night". And sweet Santa, compared to this show, the Japanese are subtle about using coincidence to bring their characters back together. It doesn't matter which continent they're on... if they're love birds, they're gonna run into each other.

I'd like to see the anime version, for old time's sake. Plus, it should be more palatable without a live-action Yonsama. Mr Green WINTER SONATA was the first non-local Asian drama that I ever loved, and it will in many ways remain a sentimental fave of mine. And the animation does look lovely. Wink

(Mebbe the writer was a fan of the Sister Act movies but got the sequence all messed up...?) Head Scratch

Cant be the same really. Once its animated it is a new thing to me not a remake. Now I couldnt watch HAna Yori Dango or the korean version after seeing MEteor Garden. THough I adored the anime.

Victory! Peace!

Yayy.... You will love it I think. But nothing compares to Swallow The Sun. It's so good I'm even trying to see it with the Engrishy subs while waiting for HaruHaru's just the best English subs I've ever seen.

The first picture in the set above is from One Fine Day.

Soulmate is one of my fav shows, too bad they never made a second season. Though it might have been for the better.

Probably the reason why they decided not to make a second season.

For those in North America, who haven't seen Soulmate and want to check it out before downloading, you can watch it streaming at dramafever.

w00t! w00t! w00t!

HaruHaru subs for episodes 17 and 18 for Swallow The Sun just announced.... Now I can go back see what really happens in these two episodes. Yippeee..... This is kind of fun watching the episodes with the worst Engrishy subs imagineable and then seeing them again to see how well I was able to figure out the drama. And I get to see Sung Yuri twice... Of course I will watch this drama many more times... so 2 does not even begin to count. Victory! Peace!
You know between Churasan and other Kuninaka Ryoko dramas, Honma Mon, Sung Yuri's dramas and a number of other gems on my perpetual rewatch shelf it's hard to find time to explore new dramas. This is like visiting favorite family members for Sunday lunch as often as I want. These feel good dramas (along with golf) make life a great enjoyment.
