I just saw this dorama recently and wow I love it! It's so refreshing somehow.. from all the romantic comedies I usually watch And I didn't really like Matsuda Shota before, especially in Hana yori, but damn is he kakkoi in this dorama! Sugoi ne!
However I must say, I was slighlty disappointed at the ending.. well some parts of it.. some I really like though

Anyway I really enjoyed this dorama!
yeah, you're right,, I, too, love this drama but was also disappointed by the ending... _________________
The finale was already an SP...
i think there'll no longer be a season 2 or if there is, i think Erika and Shota will not be the main protagonists... special participation or cameos perhaps... _________________
I just finished this a while ago and I liked it. Akiyama's always ahead aginst his opponent. his brilliancy.
Good for Nao-chan she has this warm smile that calms me whenever she's doing something stupid bec of her honesty.

So how about you guys? Please tell me I'm not the only one here who think they're hot together...
No, you're not the only one who think they're hot together. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed of the series bec. I was hoping of some romance scene bet them. Even for just a minute! Why is it hard to show some connection bet the two!? How about an SP? I need to see some romance in the drama! I know they're concentrating on the series' plot but there'll be no harm if the writers will satisfy us fans esp me.

Looks like there's going to be a sequel AND a movie:
"Liar Game" sequel dated for November
Thu, August 13, 2009 (10:57am EDT)
On Thursday, a press conference was held to announce details about the planned "LIAR GAME" sequel. It was first mentioned in April that the popular drama series was getting a second season and feature-length film.
Based on a manga by Shinobu Kaitani, "LIAR GAME" originally aired in 2007. Erika Toda starred as an honest young woman who gets involved in a high-stakes game of deception, aided by an expert swindler (Shota Matsuda).
The sequel will continue from the first season, with the main cast returning, including Michiko Kichise, Kosuke Suzuki, and Ikkei Watanabe. In the drama, the players will face off in four games and a semifinal round, while the final game will take place in the movie, titled "LIAR GAME: The Final Stage."
Fuji TV will start airing the drama in November, and the movie will open in theaters in February 2010.

I've been dying to know, because the rumor was about the theme song was from a band called Perfume, is that true?

i don't know about that but the opening music was still Yasutaka Nakata's work... i don't see Perfume singing a themesong for LG.... does not seem to fit... _________________

Thanks...now I want to read it even more. Just checked again, has not been licensed over here yet, most of the time I think they wait until they are finished over there before they can be released here, sigh, at least Nana #19 just came out.

Also need to check out the manga thread more, not to get off the subject too much, have over 1,000 of them, do have the first 2 Nanas from Japan, helped a tad in studying comparing that version with the English version, can't wait though for LG to appear over here.
