My Girl ep 5, meh, the little girl's charm wore off after the first couple of eps.
Ohitorisama ep 4, a show full of cliches and predictable, but I like Mizuki Alisa.

Ender's Girl
Quote:
Watabe Atsuro (BEAUTIFUL LIFE, BYAKUYAKOU)

Watabe is a great example. Originally tabbed to be the male lead in shows that featured women (meaning he'd support, but not steal the light) he's given some amazing and wildly varied performances. He's a heck of an actor.

And though I'm not a fan of director Takashi Miike's, I'm not above using him to make a point. Takashi has, on a number of occasions, referred to Watabe as "The best leading man in Japan."

A "Star" can be an "Actor". It just isn't necessary.

Hey! The subs for "Call Center" are finally finished. That means I get to watch a Japanese series!!! It's been a while.

Yeah, i'm liking it sofar. It's rather strange, though. I have not come across Yoshitaka Yuriko before, but she's quite good.

Didn't you see Love Shuffle? She was that semi-catatonic girl...

Or Shiroi Haru?

Don't get your hopes up. It's got Mimura and that's about all it's got. Shake Head

No, and no.

I have subs and raws for Shiroi Haru, but they are out of timing and I can't be bothered re-timing them ATM Sad

The timing is off?

Do you want me to send you those two dramas?

Yeah. I read your comments about the show when you were watching it, and I consider myself forewarned. But my tv viewing has been so scattered and screwed up lately... I'm just looking forward to watching a middle of the road series beginning to end.

My hope is that with lowered expectations the viewing will be more enjoyable. Fingers crossed.

Don't ask me why but I think I start Mr Brain this week.

I want to watch something brainless (no pun intended) and easy.

Don't expect much. It was a big disappointment. The romance was really only implied and by the end I was wondering if the title really meant that the people fell in love with the call center itself and therefore were its koibito...

I hope to watch episode 6 of Jin soon. All I have time for now is two dramas, Jin and Tokyo Dogs. Thankfully Jin has been very good to balance out the stupidity of Tokyo Dogs.

Watched Sekai de ichiban kimi ga suki episode 1-3.

The writing is not very good, but the performances were lively and light-hearted, and I could kind of vaguely see the model for some great dramas later on. Asano Atsuko was quite charismatic and looked great in this.

How ironic: Mr. Brain as brainless entertainment. hehe

Not that I'm surprised.
