Ne, Ju,
You have SMILE, the limited edition right, with the DVD,
so how is the DVD packaged?
Is it in a diff. case?

I personally use fender guitars. Stratocastors are the model that Ken uses except his is made by fernandez. Fernandez guitars aren't that good in my opinion (except Ken's personal guitars since they custom make his). Gretsch is also part of fender...like a side company of fender's. They got pretty good guitars. My friend has a Yamaha and it's pretty good from beginners and intermediate I guess. I don't recommend you get Fender Strats or Gibson Les Pauls just yet since they're really expensive and a beginner would just be seen as wasting the guitar's potential. I recommend you just buy any guitar to learn first...just go into the store and test any of them out and see what sounds good and has a fair cost. Then when you're good get a better guitar.

Blue Tetsu,
do excuse me if I sound arrogant or rude,
but I really do think that I'm going to be serious about the electric guitar.
I believe in investing in a good & reputable
musical instrument so that I get used to how the sound, feel,
the works are like.
>_<
Sorry..
but, just for the record, what are the top ranking guitars
in the market?
Thankies!

As I already said Gretsch is part of fender so bringing it up as 2 separate companies is very irritating. It's like me listing every single company that's part of fender when I could easily just say fender. Anyways...even though Ken recommends Fernandez guitars I don't because the ones they usually sell aren't Ken's and his guitars are like $3000 and also Ken is sponsored by Fernandez so it's obvious why he likes them. Gibsons probably have the nicest sound of all guitars. I like Fenders because I feel comfortable playing a Strat the most and also so of my favourite guitarists use it. Ibanez is also quite popular because of their flashy styles, my friend would definately recommend that although I wouldn't (too flashy...lol). Samick is a company that works for major guitar companies and they sell guitars which have high end parts from the companies they work for, but they sell their guitars for less. You can basically get a $1200 sounding guitar for $800. Gibson, Fender, and Ibanez are probably the top. The rest kinda suck and most companies are just a part of these 3 companies. The main thing you need to do is just go into the store and play all of them and see which one you like.

o.O well, here we have the experts, and I won't say a word, I don't know a thing about that, but well, apart of a good guitar you need skill, and maybe a really good guitarrist can make the worst guiitar sound like heaven, don't you think? but well, you're talking about buying one. n.nU

People say I can make my crappy guitar sound good....but they say I sound even better on a good guitar....Therefore....better guitar with good guitarist = great.

I agree! I like Hyde's "wailing" voice (I guess that's how I would describe it...) in Kasou. I think Finale and Forbidden Lover have a similar sound to his voice. Can you suggest other songs where he sounds like that besides Fate and Coming Closer? I need to hunt those down now!
Big Grin Finally! I had looked for a L'arc forum since so much time!! T_T I love Hyde, and aldo Tetsu and Ken, and Yuki!! *-* tottemo kakkoi desu ne!! well, actually I have a question for you about Hyde, have you seen his teeth? I've seen them in a live video of Secret Signs and the Evergreen clip, and the down teeth look just so horrible u.u I almost died when I saw that, have you noted it? do you know if in this 3 years he has made something to that? I wanna know! Shake Head
see you!
His teeth??
hmm.. All i know is that he doesn;t have perfectly straight teeth..
When I was in Japan, everyone was staring at the girls with braces.
So, I'm guessing that.. orthodontics isn't really popular or it's just
ridiculously expensive?
Let's ask someone..

OI!! MOCCONA!!!
MOCCONA!!!
*beams light*
Are there many Japanese with braces now??
MOCCONA!!
do you read me?

Tetsu plays the bass.
The bass is..
urn...
I think it basically holds the band together?
That thing you hear going thung, thung, thung thung thung thung

Or..just listen to driver's high,
it's that low sound.. it's the bass..

The bass is just a deeper sounding guitar with only 4 strings. If you know what a violin looks like imagine a really big version that you need to stand up to play. That's the original bass......the basses people use now a days are guitar shaped. I'm at conflict now, I've been recommending strats...but now I kinda want a black gibson les paul. I gotta decide before saturday cause i'm buying it then.

hey thanks iluvhyde!!! I will try to find those songs. I haven't heard most of them actually! And the ones I do know I like so maybe we have similar laruku taste! hehehe

On a different note, I went to j-town yesterday and saw the smile CD! But sooooo expensive! Sad There were also a few used laruku CDs (older ones) but even those were expensive! ($23).

SG$57 cos I got it from CDJapan Google ! Yeah... I believe theres something seriously wrong with me Crazy And in such broke situation...
