Oh yay! I'm actually a fan of cool little bars in dramas, so maybe this thread can help me find some. Off the top of my head, I like the super fancy/classy bars that show up in Konshu Tsum ga Uwaki Shimasu, and that one episode of Iryu with the anesthesia dude. I'm really big on izakayas, so the one they always go to in Hataraki Man looked pretty inviting.

The first one that came to mind was Belle Equipe from King's Restaurant, but my favourite is probably Yugafu, the Okinawan Restaurant in Tokyo from Churasan.

Probably mentioned already, but I'd love to eat at Kitchen Macaroni from Lunch Queen...have an order of Omerice.

Or for elegent fine Japanese dining, the place in Osen.

I liked the bar in Bad Dad! Victory! Peace!

Actually looked like a nice place to hang out.

But Forest Clock in YAsashii was gorgeous!

Think this is close enough, not a bar or a restaurant, but a coffee shop! hehe This was one entertaining drama, don't know how popular it was, but I recommend this highly! Applaud

oh! that's my all time favourite! i was hunting high and low for good omurice during the period when i was watching that drama.

another one will be the cake shop from Antique. totally love the atmosphere and the cakes..

another one.. though not restaurant nor bar nor anything... i just really feel like eating the cream puff made by Riko in Zettai Kareshi. haha.. it looks so yummy.

Izumiya - the after-work watering hole in Asakusa Fukumaru Ryokan. It's not so much that the place itself was so memorable, but that the bartender Noriko, played by Kaku Chikako, was sublimely elegant, and so many memorable scenes took place there;

Forest Clock - from Yasashii Jikan - just a spectacular setting, hands-down, especially in heavy snow. There's a cozy warmth to the place that's palpable, even seen on a tiny screen in streaming video;

Over Time - from... Over Time. Unusual architecture and, again, memorable scenes there throughout the series.

Honorable mention goes to the place run by Hanei-kun's mother in the dorama Voice (my hiragana isn't good enough to figure out the sign out front, but it starts with Chu...) That's another after-hours watering hole for the ensemble cast of forensic medicine students, and Hanei's loopy mom makes the place come alive.

'Probably more I'm forgetting but those are at the top of my list...

I thought Forest Clock was some fictionous place. But it's really a cafe in Furano, Hokkaido
