My lunch sack is completely underwater too. So much for soggy grapes.

I don't know about you but I just took out my pool noodles and life vest in order to prepare for the next storm.

Thanks So far today the weather has been uneventful...let's hope that remains the case.

I spent late Tuesday night making sure the gutters on my roof were clean as a whistle. I snaked the down spouts. Tested the sump pumps in back and made sure the lines were clean. I was ready.
So naturally the power at the house was out Wednesday morning. The sump pumps never started, and the back yard flooded.

It's gonna be 39C everywhere tomorrow, and at least 43C in parts of Sydney. That's 110F, folks. My dad wanted to come over tomorrow to my house to help me remove a tree. Bugger that. I'm going to be sitting inside, with the aircon on |
So you got aircon now. Lucky us, down here with the cool change it's 23 tomorrow. Today is going to be 36 though.

I'm sure it's a relief you can stay indoors on day like that. 110F is not even funny. Just thinking about it makes me

You know it, man. My old man is nuts - he'll be 80 this year, but likes nothing better than being out in the heat, working. I definitely didn't get his love of the heat
