Well I was just thinking as I sat here reading these posts. I do that you know.

Does anyone remember CRISWELL ?

He had a show called CRISWELL PREDICTS. He was a little pompous and looked rather like an older Liberace. Used to predict on the Jack Paar and the Johnny Carson shows.
Always remember him saying that the time would come when people would sit at home in front of a machine and talk to one another around the world and never travel again.

He was wrong wasn't he?? We travel all over the world all the time sitting in front of a machine.......

Well I must admit, being a literal person, Wink that I like to travel with my laptop. Nothing like watching drama on a long plane ride. Victory! Peace!
And when Im stuck on the farm because the horses like it that way I get to sofa travel.

Like checking into the weather thread. hehe

Though actually that tells more about peoples personal weather preferences than anything else. hehe

OT: Watching extreme freestyle skiing while posting.

Well I never would have known anything about Oda Nobunaga without my journeys along the internet. Also all about the Tokugawa ruling days.

It's a fascinating world that I didn't learn about in my youth..... Grumble

I'm opening my mind to all sorts of people and places.. which stretches my own inside computer these days. Dancing

Eve.
Re Toshie to Matsu. Yes saw that one. The one I really loved was Hojo Tokemune. That was very special for me.. I particularly liked Watabe Atsuro. The 'Divine wind' drove all the Khan's ships away at the crucial time. True story. Lots more of course.
