Watched Initial D Stage 2 and Himikoden this week. Himikoden still has one my favorite anime op's (actually one of my favorite jpop songs, period). Yuko Sasaki - Pure Snow. Love the orchestration. Smile The show itself is like a cheap Escaflowne knockoff. ID: SS was ok, not as exciting as the first, but some good stuff.

Havent heard of himikoden but now I'm curious with the opening theme.
anyway, finally finished Peacemaker Kurogane - most of the eps are a bit boring but the first few eps and the last few eps are superb. It had a lot of potential but kinda drifted as the story progresses.

I almost gave up on WHR ... but then a plot twist starts around mid-series that really got my attention.

I ended liking it overall.

been waiting for Initial D 4th Stage for so long, finally after watching 2 episodes it was worth the wait. the animation is sharper and better compared to the previous stages Smile . the opening and ending themes are quite good.
if any of you guys interested, music video for Move - Blast My Desire is being shared now at http://anime.mircx.com/ . there's no karaoke text though Big Grin so no sing along....

you can watch it without the other 3 stages as it begins with a new chapter in the hero's life. but it would be helpful if you've watched the previous so as to understand how the hero became so good, begins to love racing and hang out with other racers Wink

WHR sundtrack is good. Most of it is in classical piano style - quite nice.

Anyway, started PLANETES, and I must say, its seems quite good.

i'm currently also watching Ghost in the Shell SAC Season 2. anybody find the dialogue too fast and confusing? Rolling eyes
sometimes the conversation between characters are too long and technical i got lost trying to understand it. sometimes i even have to pause just to read them Mad
nonetheless...the series is good though

Are you referring to Kimagure Orange Road? coz I watch that one and its an okay series with a nice mixture of comedy and romance. Wink

havent watched GiTS-SAC season 1 nor 2. I heard htat S1 doesnt have much continuity, the eps are mostly stand alone. Is that the same with S2?

I didn't think that was really true of the first season. There was an underlying plot thread to most of the first season ... but you had to play fairly close attention.

It's the best science fiction anime out there ...
