I like all the cast here except for that member from the Korean band.

I'm not a fan of his group either.
I do like the two female actresses and from a male perspective, I think Tamayama Tetsuji is a good actor. I saw him in Brother Beat and he portrayed a really good oldest brother/son in the family.
I'm not going to bother watch this any further because of that dude from TVXQ.
I'm a fan of Joongie but I guess I should agree on this: His presence in this drama makes the whole drama awkward. LOL. Though, I still look forward on him in Sunao.
Besides, it's because of the fangirls why he's in this drama _________________

I'm not a Tohoshinki fan but I'm not a Tohoshinki anti-fan either. I'm wondering why everyone seems to be picking on him so? He's fairly new to acting and it's expected that he'll be the worst among the leads. That's no excuse for bad acting but I didn't find him horrible in the first episode anyway. There hasn't been enough of him to judge. And yes he's awkward but isn't he supposed to be awkward?
I think of Love Shuffle. The first episode was really jarring and the characters all seemed like caricatures. The set-up was so contrived and I was dubious of the acting. But it turned out to be one of the best dramas of 2009. I can see the same happening with Sunao ni Narenakute.

He stated that he was nervous acting with pro's and specially it's Japanese. He even has his own specialized script wherein the Kanji characters are with "fumiganas - hiragana character on top of Kanji for him to read".
And as what I've posted before, since Jae Joong is the top ikemen in Japan today, he seem to be picked for the ratings.
Nevertheless, Jae Joong's not the only one who goes with the same case btw. There are these JE boys who've been used for the ratings too _________________

i also have to agree that y everyone is so harsh on that jae joong? neither a fan nor a hater, but i thought the fact his acting is awkward and unnatural fit the role just nice.. since his role is supposed to be 'unnatural' (or rather not truthful) with who he really is, isnt it?
and so far, his role (and also that peach) has already much 'expose' their 'true personality'.. seriously, it is no longer important if he can act or not.. cos the key story is not on him anyway... i tink the remaining three characters (or rather the 2 leads) who still have things left unexpose, undiscover.. r more interesting ....
so.. lets continue to watch the drama.... enjoy!!!! [/quote] _________________

I was impressed with Jae Joong's Japanese language skills after watching the interview posted by Soulhunter14. It's tough to become fluent in any foreign language.
I'm pretty neutral about him being cast in the drama since I'm not familiar with Tohoshinki/DBSK. He seemed pretty awkward in his role but isn't his character supposed to be that way?

I'm always impressed with his Japanese. In an interview of DBSK before, they said that Jae Joong and Yunho(DBSK's leader) always watch Bleach(anime) together so they could widen their vocabulary.
Yes, but Jae's the awkward-est lol. Anyway, that awkward Jae's the cutest even in variety and interviews of DBSK. lol. (okay, I'm bias. Kill me now. lol ) I'm always used to Joongie in that manner. For me, I see his acting awkward but even in interviews or something else, Jae's always like that. But he needs to improve his acting if he really wanted to pursue it.
This makes me laugh
Fangirls never fail, they even managed to do a Yaoi fanart out of that scene. xDD _________________

I know many of you have the practice of downloading the dramas along with the subs but for those who don't download, here's a link to a site that has ep. 2 with subs:

Yeah, I saw that over at D-Addicts... I don't really want to switch subbers, but I may be forced to if the GOESS group takes any longer to release Episode 2.

I just figured it's better than no subs, and I will just watch it with the GOE;SS subs later. There are a couple of mistakes in these, but it's easy enough to work out what it should be.

Someone over at D-Addicts just commented that Querbeet is going to sub this drama as well...
The Haru-Nakaji relationship is clearly the most interesting story of the bunch... It seems a bit melodramatic with all of the complications, but it's still interesting, most assuredly because of Juri-chan and Eita: You can't help but root for them.
Nakaji totally deserved his verbal lashing from Haru after she was crushed to be set up on a date with Doctor... How she managed to endure that entire fiasco was beyond me.
I don't know how true the abusive/harassing boss is in Japan, but they're really playing it up in this drama... What a stereotype. And for all of them to have such bosses? Come on...
Not really liking all the little side stories, particularly the one with the drug-pushing students... Seems so cliched and contrived.
Don't know what to say about Linda: he's in a crappy situation. You'd think he'd have some self-respect, but I guess he needs the job, which is why he allows himself to be the boss' plaything.
Peach and Doctor are the two least interesting characters... Still. We know pretty much nothing about Peach other than she's apparently knocked up and is suicidal. And Doctor is just wimpy and pathetic: he's underachieving and the whipping boy at work... I haven't seen much from either of these characters so far that makes them interesting or worth rooting for at all.
At this point, Haru, Nakaji, and Linda are the ones carrying the storyline... And I'm glad of it.
^Wah, doesn't sound too hot. Do you see any indications of the storyline making a positive comeback? I think we can rest-assured that the two leads at least will give us something to watch for, but it'd be nice if there was strength in the plot too. Don't want it to turn out like Last Friends....(ah, the inevitable comparison...)
