I just started watching this drama and I can honestly say that I hate it so far. It's trying too hard to be controversial and it reminds me too much of Last Friends with all the characters being screwed up or in screwed up situations. I hate all the characters and I can feel no sympathy for anyone. I just want everyone dead.

Kitagawa Eriko should just give up. Her heyday has passed over a decade ago.

Oh, and I'm not fond of the soundtrack either.

I'm still going to watch it though. Maybe because I'm bored..

Oh, sorry, but I Juri really annoys me in this drama. She has that Nodame way of speaking in a really enunciated, slow way and it just bugs me here. I guess it's her way of conveying social awkwardness?

Well her character is sort of a naive, live-at-home-with-the parents person...

Yeah, I'm kind of on that boat. The characters are just so unappealing.

im actually really liking this drama, haru is a really nice, naive, simple girl
but im not really liking nakaji, hes soo.... cant think of the word lol i hate how hes playing with other ppl's feelings (haru) even though he has a gf...

Haha, even though I can't stand this drama so far, I'm itching to go home and watch the 3rd episode. Can't figure out why I'm wanting to find out what happens next.

The crap continues.. It gives me the feeling that Kiriko-san is the Sousuke(Last Friends) of this drama. And perhaps, Haru carries some sort of Michiru's character. Not the stupid side of Michiru though. But she carries this burden that the people around her does. Jae does nothing at all though. I couldn't expect more from him. But how could Linda handle things now? After he accomplished his promise to Doctor, he should undergo arranged marriage right? Oh blah blah blah.. I agree with bmw-san, I also think that Kiriko-san is the one who did a suicide attempt on ep1. Or maybe she really did kill herself? A way to open doors between Juri and Eita? I think Eriko-san inserted the characters of Doctor and Kiriko-san to add some spice to the Eita-Juri pairing here. In the end, Kiriko-san will end up crap and Doctor remains in this agony for Juri.

I'm downloading ep4 RAW now.

I can see the Michiru-Haru parallel, yet I'm sympathetic towards Haru's misery... Admittedly because it's Juri-chan. But I don't find her character as wretchedly pathetic as Michiru: she was getting wailed on by Sosuke, whereas Haru is just hopelessly lovelorn.

I think you're on the mark. There's no way Doctor wins Haru in this drama... Everyone's been pining for a Juri-chan-Eita romance for a while now... No noob actor is going to be allowed to spoil that in the final act.

Long Vacation is my favorite. I should look into these then. Also like pride
