Heavy Rain is more important than Aya-chan? Shocked

Just kidding Big Grin

However, if you want to play an awesome game on the PS3, and you're not Japanese, than try Ryu ga Gotoku 3 (Yakuza 3). Smile

I saw it, and I like it! Big Grin

And to the people that wonder how Aya-chan is involved with the Yakuza 3-game, I can tell that Aya is featured on a magazine cover featured in the game. Shibasaki Kou is on a magazine cover in the game, too.

I have still hopes that they will finish Shenmue some day. Recently there were rumors again about a remake of the first on 360 and/or PS3 and then a 3rd Shenmue. Fingers crossed

Yes, Aya kinda was in Yakuza 3 hehe. I found a magazine in one of the stores with Aya on the cover ^^

Oh, yeah!
I just hardsubbed Zettai Reido - Episode 1 myself!
Now I can finally watch it on my PlayStation 3!

If anyone wants to know how I hardsubbed it, just send me a message and I'll explain. It's really not that hard Wink

HOW TO HARDSUB A VIDEO FILE:

Well, there seem to be numerous ways to hardsub a video file.
Of course, you will need to video file you want hardsubbed. Secondly, you will need the subtitle-file. Make sure it is perfectly timed. If it isn't, the subtitles may appear off and trust me, it's not awesome to look at an episode of a TV-show in which the subtitles are off!

To begin, I can say that I use VirtualDub in combination with VobSub.
VirtualDub can be downloaded by clicking here. I myself picked this version, Release build -- 1.9.9 (stable), 32-bit version, but the version you need may vary depending on your computer.

VobSub can be downloaded by clicking here. The filters that VobSub carries will need to be installed in the same folder as VirtualDub. During the installation process you will be asked to select the folder in which that is located, so don't worry.

Now, after you've installed both VirtualDub and VobSub, boot up VirtualDub. When you've done this, open the video file that needs to be subbed by clicking "Open Video File" in the "File"-section of the menu. After this, go to the "Video"-section of the menu and choose "Compression". Select the 'Divx 6.8.5. Codec (2 Logical CPUs)'-option and click 'OK'.

Next, go to the "Video"-section of the menu and choose "Filters". On the right side of the newly opened screen, selecht 'Add' and then 'Load'. Browse to the 'Plugins'-folder inside the VirtualDub folder. In here, select the 'textsub.vdf'-file and in the newly opened screen, browse for the subtitle file. For instance, Zettai Reido ep02.ass. If you want, you can style the subtitles by giving them a certain color or font, but the default settings work great, so there's actually no need for that.

When you have done all this, it is time to go save the new video file. To do this, go to the 'File'-section of the menu, and choose "Save as AVI...". Select a name for the video file (I suggest using a different name than the un-subbed, original version) and a location, and then click okay. VirtualDub should now begin to sub the video file. The original video file will still remain in the location you had loaded it from, unchanged. The new, subtitled file will be stored in the location of your choosing.

Note: If you get the following error:
"VirtualDub Error: The source image format is not acceptable (error code -2)", you may need to activate a second filter in the 'Filters'-section of the menu, namely the 2:1 reduction (high quality)-filter. This error usually pops up when one tries to hardsub files which are in High Definition-format.
---------------------

I hope this will help you. Remember that this is the way I do it, and it has never failed me. There may be other (maybe easier) ways of hardsubbing files, but I don't know how to perform them. I hope I've been of help. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me.

Hardsubbed is a good thing if I wanted to watch on PS3 and on the TV, as well. But usually I prefer softsubs and the HD raws. Best possible picture quality hehe hehe

True. But the fact that I cannot stand to watch anything longer than 10 minutes on my laptop, has me hardsubbing files when they're not hardsubbed yet. And why should I not share my knowledge with others? Mr Green

I have seen the first episode of Zettai Reido by the way, and I must say I am impressed! This type of character is completely different form any other that Aya has done in the past, and I must say that I really like it. Even though she's still a rookie on the show, I think her character will develop a lot as the show progresses. I almost can't wait!
