Sounds more like they're DIScouraging DVD sales.

Those two along with Love Shuffle are probably my favorites of '09. They went a long way in helping me forget such "gems" as Tokyo Dogs and Untouchable. |
Guess Im going to skip TOkyo Dog it appears.
On ep 6 Fumo Chitai, still rocking. _________________

Lol. I knew that little fact flew by you somehow. Ah, finished watching Prisoner and sadly, he's on his way to being Linda in that one. It was a fast watch though with only 5 episodes. It played like your typical mini-series where everything bad that could happen, happened. Still haven't decided on whether to go with Smile or Zeni Geba next. Or maybe something a bit off-kilter like Orthros no Inu...

As for Rookies, you can actually skip the SP unless you want to relive all 11 eps of the series. It's mostly a recap with about 2-3 scenes of new material. What stuck with me all throughout watching the drama though is the end theme. Now that's one catchy song. _________________

I hate it when they do an endless recap. _________________

I think you mean "pointless" recap, Evie.
Trying to milk the last drop of ratings, I suppose.

Couldn't agree with you more. It's like the t.v. equivalent of Cliff Notes and sometimes it gets me thinking that maybe I would've been better off skipping the series and just watching the SP. Imagine all the time I would've saved.

Just watched Mother Ep 01... Wow.
I hope the other eps are as intense. That little girl who plays Rena is gifted ! _________________ uȂAǂƂςĂBv

You know, as soon as I saw her I said to myself, "This should keep ralph interested."

Uno Misaki, as in the girl from the jpop group AAA? _________________

Hmmm. That adds another dimension to Hitomi. Now I will have to chase down AAA.

The only female stuff that I know of is AAA's "Kimono Jet Girl," but it has the 3 girls singing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jqsr2iyNBmM I love AAA's music. Plan to sing "Hallelujah" and "Get Chu" with a friend next karaoke sesh.
On topic: Gonna attempt to watch the ROOKIES movie and maybe the next episode of Subarashii Kana Jinsei some time today... _________________
