^ Thing is, we need torrents of rain... Maybe Noah and the Ark stuff to get us out of our drought. On second thought, it not rain we need, it's snow: that's what fills up our reservoirs, I believe.

We finally got rain today!!!!! Also thunder and lightning, but we really needed this rain. Thanks bmw & Eve for clarifying the CA drought situation to me.

Been hot & humid. Next week it's still going to be hot, but the humidity is suppose to go down a bit.

Already in the 70s at 8:30 a.m., supposed to be in the 90s for the rest of the week, looks like summer has finally arrived.

is this the thread to ask about the weather?? let me know if i am wrong, don't want to spam the thread... anyway.. will be heading to hokkaido in a couple of days, really have no idea what clothes to pack... it is summer, but temperature can fluctuate from what i see... any suggestion on what to bring? ps: onna desu... arigatou na...

I would suggest dressing in layers. That way you can always put on/take off according to the fluctuation in temperature.
