Well, these DVDs already exist as individual DVDs from Criterion. It's just repackaged in a single slipcase. They're not remastered or anything, unfortunately. Sad

YES, I have to say something

After those last really shitty weeks I have deserved my vacation!

Which means... in not even 4 hours I'll be on an Airbus 340-300 en route to... TOKYO

about fucking time... finally some relaxation...

I'll be back in 2 weeks, May 23rd

*walks out singing a song from M*A*S*H*
Oh Tokyo
They got some sake, and sashimi, and some clean sheets,
Oh, come on, oh, come on, oh,
Tokyo's the town that I love the best,
East may be East, and West may be West,
Forget about between, it'll drive you insane,
And teach you things you never knew before

If it weren't for his tougher-than-lava rock Detective Kono character, it's arguable as to whether the 5-0 unit would've been able to burst through any locked door(s) of some evildoer endangering my island home. More than that, he represented every single Kama`aina on television's most celebrated law enforcement team.

Of course, I'm assuming one or two or more of you have seen the TV series Hawaii 5-0.

Zulu (actual name Gilbert Francis Lani Damian Kauhi) passed away in Hilo on Monday, 05/03/04, at age 66.

Admittedly, he had some "interesting" situations in his life. Here's the rest of the story: http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/2004/May/07/ln/ln02a.html

Jack Lord, who played Steve McGarret (head of 5-0), yes, he died in 1998. He lived on Oahu, too. Very private man 'til the end.

ever since they move to catalyst, the drivers have been great and has regular updates.

anyway, someone created a wrapper to be able to play the ruby demo real-time but it still needs some work (missing textures). Saw it posted on rage3d forums...

as for jartists, i'm glad that yukie nakama now has 46 votes. hehehe.

Troy looks like a Gladiator retread. And I thought Gladiator was overrated to begin with.

Best pre-Dark Ages film so far? The Passion of the Christ. If for no other good reason? The language is correct (Latin and Aramaic).

What're all these characters doing speaking English (as much as I love English) in Gladiator and (apparently) Troy?

Go see Hero instead, once that comes out.

Helen of Troy..hmm..just don't like the story so I'm not too eager to watch it. Ok there are the "Hunk" factor in that movie but so what!? As for gladiator..it's boring and I have no idea why Russell and the movie lead so many Oscar anyway?! Crazy
