what I advise is to start by watching the movie , then the eps , then the special

it's the way I did, it's not overwhelming at all and save the best for the end

the movie is completely appart and atificially tied to the special by a tiny element at the end (you see, no spoiling lol)

In the movie fuyutski is slightly mentioned (1st time sex)

the special is so cool, if you were sad that the serie ended go and watch the special you will be happilly surprised.

movie & special are to show Onizuka introduced in new high schools and pursuing his career , as it's in the reality for teachers ; sugoi !

it setlle a kind of endless end !

I hope yoou see what I mean

bye !

Some possible explanations, at least it's what I believe to be the truth

In fact when he says he has been with his gf for 9 mmonths he certainly actually means he has known her for 9 months.

the condomn according tro me and to the ways Onizuka says it in the movie should be refering to a second time with Fuyutski chan ,
she is the special woman after all

then it would also explained the fact he dumbed the journalist out (in addition to the fact she was playing to collect information)

It's seems to me that Onizuka is already 26 in the drama ,

nothing said or forecast they would go to Okaido together

and to finish as far as the motorcycle is concerned he certainlly paid some fees to have it restored and ment.

not to mention he ios not that wealthy "genie of the lamp" put him in trouble from what he said.

But te most suprising is not that the motorcycle is restored but rather that he gets a one between episode 12 and the special episodes which dirrectly follows one another !!!

yes they do, the beginning of the spec is in fact just the morning of the day after he fetched her at the airport.

is that satisfying some fellows over there ??

I hope it did ,, I tried to be of some help in any case

bye !

Though, those are plausible explinations... there is no strong connection. Yes, Onizuka is in Hokkaido... or well, supposedly in Hokkaido, but why was he running away from the reporter in the very first scene?

Very un-Onizuka....

Also, Onizuka is one broke person... he never has 'money'... so for him to salvage and restore his motocycle is clearly insane. You must remember, his friend that owns the Motorcycle shop in the manga/anime is just a cop in the drama.

And for a phone call that urgent in the special, I wouldn't believe someone all the way in Hokkaido would call Onizuka to be teaching at that school over some girl, unless he really was that great of a teacher all over Japan.

Also, Fuyustuki and Onizuka were going to go to Hokkaido together to see her parents, because her mother isn't doing well, so the thought of Onizuka just leaving to Hokkaido and leaving Fuyutsuki behind like that is kinda... left out of the blue, considering the fact that he loves that woman more than life itself.

I'm rambling nonsense again. x_x

the cop and the motorcycle-shop owner are 2 different persons

the cop is a false face cop in the anime

onizuka doesn't run in the beginnig it's the real thief (a friend of him in fact, and possibly the equivalent of the shop owner in the anime) who does.

I know that, but can be, equvalent to his friend. That's why I said that the cop is his friend and that he could not have motorcycle salvaged so easily without his friend being like the one in the manga.[/quote]

I know he doesn't exist in the anime.

Then why did the reporter manage to pick up Onizuka's wallet? Surely Onizuka wouldn't lend out his wallet to someone he hasn't seen in ages.

the cop do exist in the manga (at least in the anime , manga I'm not sure)

He must have run because he didn't know what it was about
something like this ....

well there are lots of flaws in the plot it seems

Not as far as I know, there's only the special and movie.
Though a sequel series would be killer.

In the Drama Special, at the end Onizuka gets a call on his cell phone about Hokkaido...

Since the movie is set in Hokkaido and Onizuke is presented in the movie as being a substitute teacher, presumably the phone call from the Drama Special is from the Education Ministry telling him to go to Hokkaido, or something akin.

While the movie had an all-new cast, that was fine since it's set in Hokkaido.
