'' One of this yearfs highly anticipated fall dramas, gNagareboshig, starring Yutaka Takenouchi and Aya Ueto, debuted on Fuji TV on the 18th, with an average rating of 13.6% for the first episode. The average ratings, published by video researchers in the Kanto region, already show the modest following the drama might achieve in the upcoming weeks.
This rating is the highest that actor Yutaka Takenouchi has achieved in a drama in 9 years for an autumn drama, the last being gDekichatta Kekkonh in 2001.''

I don't know how the ratings work. So is 13.6 good or bad? I remember reading that Kazoku got bad ratings so they cut the series to 8 episodes. Dramawiki says Nagareboshi has 10 eps. Doesn't the usual dorama have 12 eps?
Anyway, I hope it continues to do well and Yutaka is satisfied with his work. Manatsu No Merry Christmas didn't do so well, I think, but he said in an interview he was really proud of it. In fact, Kazoku is an excellent dorama, ratings be damned!

13.6% is not bad...
btw i really don't care about the ratings...as long as the story is great, i''ll watch it
the parameter of a good drama is not only ratings..good drama depend on many variables _________________

Screw the ratings...Too many tv stations, plenty of dramas compare to 10-15years back, u can't just watch every single of it at one time...Even a good drama might get an average 10 overall..so no big deal actually..The most important is we enjoy it... _________________

I'm curious too! I heard somebody mention the word "kekkon" which I know means marriage, so I'm dying to know Yutaka's answer. I also want to know what the SMAP members who've acted with Yutaka before had to say.
