4 days in Kyoto, afternoon in Nara and about 6 days in Tokyo.
There's 2 festivals in Kyoto that we're planning to see- jidai and kurama. Hopefully we don't get lost in kurama. Hehe

Too bad I'll miss out on Sunday harajuku scenes.

Exchange rate sucks though - dollar is still falling

Same for you, have a wonderful time in Japan. w00t!

Congrats. Have a great time. I was actually in Kyoto this time last year and saw the Jidai Matsuri. The various types of clothing on display are fascinating.

Oh yeah I also went to the Ramen Musuem as well...it's pretty cool and you'll have a chance to choose from Japan's most famous ramen shops all located under one roof.

Enjoy your trip!

I'll post some pics of our travs if we find some interesting ones.

Scrappedshinigami: how's minato mirai area in Yokohama? We're planning to go there and go to the ramen museum as well

Minato Mirai is gorgeous!!!! Seriously I am so glad I chose Yokohama purely because of that area haha! I go so often as its in-between my train trip from Uni to my room. (Actually I went today and got my bf a present from the Shounen shop XDDDD)
I haven't been to the ramen museum, but I heard from one of my friends that it was good haha.
If you're in the area "Landmark tower" is a must really, especially at night it looks so beautiful with all the lights. Also at night its nice to stop by the Osanbashi, as its on the other side of the bay (about 30 minute walk) you can get some really nice views of the water front area Smile))))
Let me know how the museum is =DDD

BM - Tadaima!!!!! Being in Japan I ordered the Liar Game movie today ho ho, really need to start watching Japanese stuff again, my listening needs some work ^^;;;;

Esther - Thankie =DDDD

What a fantastic experience you must be having! The ramen musuem is worth a visit, so you should go when your time permits. It's walking distance from Shin Yokohama Station...well you live in Yokohama so it shouldn't be an issue finding it Smile

Nice. Victory! Peace!

Too bad you can't bundle several different experiences: The Heritage and Gourmet itineraries look really good... Victory! Peace!
