Tu-Triky - I want to go know because its in Shin Yokohama XDDD I wanted to check out the place but heard it was just the stadium and business really. But if the ramen museum is there, I might grab some peeps <3

BM - Actually you reminded me I have not yet watched the Nodame Movie!!!!! I remember it coming out and getting excited but then I never got to see it >< will look into that next. I ordered Liar Game off Amazon.jp so it should be here in the next couple of days

Arnel98 - Have fun!!!! The weather here at the moment is pretty grey, but it is still warm. Its been like this for the past week, but usually the sun breaks out at some point and its only rained once or twice... only once bad since I have been here ^^

I will admit the museum portion of the venue is on the smallish side but it is set up quite nicely...rest assured you should go there with the intention of eating some ramen because I would guess that would be the highlight of the visit. It would be fun going with a group of friends/acquaintances/etc.

Hmm, by now you probably don't need subtitles anymore, ne? Victory! Peace!

We're gonna have to enlist you as a translator/fansubber when you're done. Mr Green

Tu-Triky - It won't be hard to get people to go with me, I told some the other day and they were all "ZOMG RAMEN MUSEUM! LET'S GO!" xddddd

BM - I try to watch stuff without subtitles for revision, when I watched Liar Game the other day I watched it with Japanese subtitles. I find it easier, because my listening is a lot weaker than my reading (Which is ironic considering I have been listening to Japanese for nearly 10 years but only reading it for 2 ^^Wink I am supposed to be fluent when I finish this year, so fingers crossed! HAHA at the moment I have patches in my Japanese. I started reading a new manga I got yesterday, for the first couple of pages I was looking up every other word >><< (unfortunately I have never learned the Japanese for things such as telekinesis, esper, magical powers XDDDDD) but after that it was ok.

Cool.

I would think working on subs would help you with your Japanese... A win-win for everyone involved. Mr Green

I checked out a few museums in Japan, which are the Historic Hiroshima museum at Peace Park, outdoor Picasso museum in Hakone, and finally the beer museum in Ebisu, i recommend those museums to check out if you are going around to different areas in Japan.

Japan's latest creation

=======================

...The next stop is Takahashi Shoten where a new product has been produced called Yuzosco, a wonderful chili pepper sauce condiment made of the Japanese citrus yuzu juice and chili peppers. I was first introduced to it at a culinary reception at the Japanese consulate earlier last month and thought it was excellent. Having always been a fan of Tabasco sauce, this small Japanese company is following a similar idea but with the added aromatic citrus juice. It hasnft arrived into Canada yet as they're looking for a distributor but hopefully they find one soon! Started in the Edo period as a sake brewery, then turning to a pickle factory in 1959, this family business decided to start a new product such as the McIlhenny familyfs Tabasco. Here, salted yuzu peel is brought in from the outlying island farms, crushed with green chilies from Thailand (as they had the best flavour), mixed then crushed with a rice vinegar blend and secret ingredients, then aged for a minimum of 6 months. Hand bottled, some 2000 bottles a day are produced...
