No one contacted me though..... Maybe ruroshin saw the pm i sent or maybe the site got some errors. Either way im already happy when im able to get to d-addicts now _________________ I am not what i was use to be.

Got this PM from one of the D-Addicts moderators: ------------------------------------------------------- Often people aren't banned but simply can't access the site due to their own security software. People are very rarely banned and then only after warnings. People on dynamic ips can find themselves banned if the ip has been associated with another user but for that reason we rarely ban ips. Maybe that happened this time and was then resolved when they were appointed a new ip address. People can always contact me with their ip address and nick and I can check to see their status . . . I've created an email [email protected] on which banned members can contact me. I'm happy for you to pass this to people in that position. For some reason my computer still thinks that d-addicts is gone - all I get from the address is a 'page not found'. I've flushed the DNS but that doesn't seem to have done any good. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you flushed your browser's cache?

Odd things happen with d.addicts at times. this week I thought I had posted something unsuitable because in discussing a subject I found that one rather long post went missing plus the one from someone else to whom I was replying. It was quite a shock as I don't usually write stuff that is 'bannable'. However next time I checked all was back in place. Actually I almost thought it was my computer because i am struggling with Win7 which has changed my set up so much and I hate it. I am stuck with it now but I have lost files and others I can't open. At least I am now OK with d.addicts which is a site I enjoy very much.

Thank you! I flushed the cache and then restarted and now I'm back in. What a relief. Now to catch up on all those dramas I was in the middle of!

I can't access d-addicts today but it will probably come back again. I am blaming everything that goes wrong for me on Win7. I have more troubles with this system and I HATE it. I loved my WinXP.
