The subs are in .ass format, so you might need to convert them to .srt using Subtitle Workshop... Then open the .srt in Notepad in Unicode form and save as Plain Text.

Yeah, I had to do that for subs for Anata no tonari ni... I was getting them in .ass and had to convert them to .srt.

Yup.
I had to do that extra Unicode to Plain Text step, else I'd get a bunch of goofy characters in the subtitles...

I'll say.
But I'm willing to put up with it if the subber will sub all 48 episodes... I'm giving him all the encouragement I can.

I think it's overly complicated... .srt files are clean and simple.

There is probably 3 or 4 jdramas being subbed, and its good that your favorite actress is in one of those dramas.
I am checking out a few dramas, but there are too many mystery-detective ones this year.
Right now I am enjoying my day off while on my b-day and d/l'ing another j-drama and catching up on a few posts.

Yup.
Didn't know if anyone was going to sub it at the time....
Not sure if you're into historical dramas, but it's worth checking out, Evie.

Aww, that takes the fun out of it... Besides, you'll have to wait until December before it's done.
