Azuma Kazuma, I love you.

Probably tastes great with Edmond Fallots basil mustard. Thumbsup

We all love Kazuma. Smitten

Ate some delicious rye onion bread today. Fabulous. Drooling

Are you sure it is number #51 you love so much? hehe

OT: So happy I survived my Mum's visit. We rolled out the red carpet and our efforts were noted and appreciated. And then we slept for three days. Dancing attendance on a queen is tiring, Sweat

I like the texture of the rough but the basil is delicious.

Can't expect much from a bunch of primitives like the human race.

Rather exciting that we are living in the dawning age of technology though.

During the recent troubles over there, my Mother, who has been in Egypt several times in recent years( her BF lives in Rome so they met there) was concerned about the guide who had taken such great care of them. Due to the internet she contacted him immediately, and he reassured her that the news was sensationalizing things as usual and that she shouldnt worry and he believed things would be settled in a reasonable manor. Anyway, he kept her updated and what he told her panned out. Nowadays we are not dependent on the news but rather can contact others individual to individual.
FWIW I believe the internet will be the ultimate source in civilizing this planet.

That theory is increasingly born out by contemporary events.

I first realized the barrier crossing power of the internet about 5 years ago when a muslim, jdrama fan from Indonesia asked me for dating advice. Inconceivable previously.

Not to be a downer to all those cheering this on but if you look at history, most revolutions, especially in that region but also throughout the world, do not lead to "democracies". The army is currently in control of the government, not exactly a hallmark of a democratic revolution. There is very little secular, democratic organization to replace the power vacuum. The only group ready and organized, and already pushing, is the Muslim Brotherhood. This is likely not going to turn out as well as many are hoping.
