Finished up Hotelier which was so much better than I would have expected, first and last episodes were a tad fluffy but all the others were quite intense, serious and a bit dark at times, but overall a real good watch. Up next is one I have no idea about but those normally turn out okay, Big Wing.
i better get down to watching that as soon as i can _________________

It's worth a watch, actually Tanabe Seiichi may have a bigger role than Aya, plus it's got Nishida Naomi who never has lead roles but could be the best supporting actress out there. _________________

Finished up Big Wing which was an unexpected treat, haven't seen Uchida in too many things but really enjoyed her in this, gonna chack out a few other things from her, though currently watching her in Taisetsu. _________________
I thought the ending was kind of unrealistic, but you've Uchida AND Nanako!!
Hah, hah, have seen it, actually have the DVD of it, didn't realize she was in it, her short hair through me for a loop, guess you've made my next selection easy, has been a few years since I've seen it. Besides Nanako also has Yutaka, Oikawa and Nana. _________________

I really enjoyed Big Wing. I wish I could watch it again, but I made the mistake of watching it over and over again when I made copies for people, back in the long ago before I could just make high speed copies.
To say I jump at the chance to see anything Uchida Yuki is in... is an understatement.
I'm not annoyed that I spent time watching it. I don't begrudge the time or the effort. But I never once cared about what was going on, on screen.
Sad to say, since I'm an "Odoru Daisousasen" nut, and I've always thought Oda Yuji was terrific in that... but the guy is just too much of a light weight to carry off something like Gaikoukan Kuroda Kosaku. It all comes off like second rate daytime melodrama.
Shibasaki Kou ws just fine in her supporting role. And much of the rest of the supporting cast was first rate. But Oda's constant posing and his "serious" face made the whole thing seem... second rate.
The show had some good points... but by the end, I just didn't care.

Started back on it, better than I remembered it the first time through though only watched up until episode 3, also up to episode 6 of Taisetsu which is much more serious than I would have thought. _________________

^ speaking of Uchida Yuki.
I started Namida no fuite and was going to drop it because of Eguchi Yusuke playing yet again one of this plain stupid characters that I look down on.
Then Uchida Yuki showed up (and Ayumi Ishida I must admit), and suddenly it's watchable!!!

^^ Hmmm, might have to check that one out. Yuki's probably had her name mentioned more in the last few days than the last few years combined.
Episode 7 of Koori no Sekai, ended on a typical cliff hanger...The criminal is...to be continued. _________________
I've become a big fan of Nao's, and the show is right up my alley for light entertainment. It's a simple Detective series, with it's own "Genius", in this case a Professor of Criminal Psychology who comes in and tells the cops where they've gotten it all wrong... and his assistant, the earnest, and energetic female detective, Nao.
The plots, and crimes are all pretty much standard, but they are done well, and the cast is full of good, likable actors.
The asadora format was dieing on the vine until this one came along.
That asadora is real pleasing, and I'll have to say, adorable as well. Still doesn't make me a Mukai fan though (he's completely overrated IMO), but at least I can tolerate him in this drama. But Nao is pretty amazing. _________________

News no Onna
Splendid and entertaining performance by Suzuki Honami. Good supporting cast. The story shifted focus half way through the series and to my view didn't really wrap up all the knots at the and. 7/10
Good Luck
Very good cast and I especially liked Shibasaki Kou and Tsutsumi Shinichi, who I've only seen as goofball Matahachi in Musashi.
One point better than "Attention Please" 8/10
