Very different, many verb conjugations are different as well.
The most respectful thank you I was taught in school is domo arigato gozaimasu. You just don't hear arigato zonjimasu or arigataki shiawase unless you're watching a jidaigeki drama.
I almost hope I can take the JLPT in ancient Japanese now...lol.

The 15 ep. was a bit slow, lots of dialog that develops the characters, but it's okay!
Saji had only a couple minutes of screen time... I�Lll miss him XDDD
Gou and Saru scene was so dramatic!

I think we can say Ep15 is a filler episode^^ How they explain Saru's actions and how Gou start to look at him in a different light is...umm.. I dunno, I just don't buy it. And I thought, rather than Gou, shouldn't it be Chacha who starts to see him in a different light?

As far as I know, only RYOMADEN that was clearly divided into seasons, with each seasons having proper titles. I think none of the other taiga dramas have done that before. Some taigas in the early 90s like Ryukyu no Kaze or Homura Tatsu were divided into 3-4 parts though, with each parts having different leading characters.
But in some taigas, sometimes you can guess starting which episode starts the new season, like when the story have continued to the next level or the leading character starts a new phase in his/her life.
For GOU, I have a feeling like this:
Season One / Winter - Childhood (Ep1-10); ended with Ichi's death
Season Two / Spring - Teenagehood (Ep11-24); would probably end with 2nd husband's death
Season Three / Summer - Marriage with Shogun Hidetada (Ep25-35); Gou-Hidetada's romance from hate to love, Gou's ups and downs as a wife in Tokugawa clan and not being able to give birth to a boy(heir), ends with the outcome of Sekigahara battle (Mitsunari vs Ieyasu)
Season Four / Autumn - "Siege of Osaka" battle (Ep36-47); the climax of the Azai sisters' conflicts, Gou's dispute with Kasuga-no-Tsubone, the start of Ooku, ends with... well, Gou's death.
Regarding Siege of Osaka, the history:

Lady Yodo (Chacha) appointed Hatsu as Toyotomi's emissary for peace negotiation, with Ieyasu's agreement, because Hatsu is both Yodo(Toyotomi) and Gou(Tokugawa)'s sister, so they believe she won't side with either of the opposing clans. But then Ieyasu cunningly betrayed them/broke the agreed truce. And it was believed that Yodo and Hatsu's relationship was broken since then, Yodo didn't trust Hatsu anymore. Looking forward to how they will depict this part of the story ^_^

I think literally those expressions mean "This is a thing to be thankful for" vs. "I feel this is a thing to be thankful for".
Basically "I'm grateful" vs "I feel grateful".
My favorite is Arigataki shiawase ~ "Thank you for my happiness".

someone please explain why they symbolize by those animal (based on each clan)?
and what animal was GOU, was that a bear (?) ... and why three rules has same symbolize as GOU /just curios
