^^ That was a shock but it's only one game, surprised the Hawks even got by the Magic, right about Johnson having a big game, so did Crawford off the bench, pair combined for 56 points. Mr Green

Is there such a curse for the Coach of the Year? Head Scratch

That said, I think Phil Jackson has never won that award... But he does 11 NBA Championships. Mr Green

Nice comeback win for the Mavs!

Miami Heat is the only higher seeded team that won on the first game of the second round.

^^ Celts beat them the first 3 times in the season but that's when the Heat were not playing all that well, right now they're looking like the team to beat, Sweat James and Wade are just taking it to the Celts who can't stop them. Shake Head Rondo also needs to step up, he's so much better than the Heat's PG, final stats looked okay but a lot of the points and assists were late when the game was already decided. bleh Thunder are up by 10 in the 3rd tonight, figured they would come out much stronger this game, a wakeup call is what a lot of teams need, maybe game one was theirs.

^^ Yeah, his back has been acting up for a while but he played fine against the Knicks though. Seems as though Pierce and Allen also got hurt in the game, Doh! Heat have no center either so Shaq could have made a big diiference so far, probably can't expect him to play now but someone needs to start rebounding for the Celts. Sweat

Celts have got no one to guard them. Pierce is a good defender, but he's too slow now to guard them.
For me the an issue has been too many turnovers. Also at times they have a hard time scoring.

Bulls beat the Hawks, 86-73, to even the series, 1-1.

Hopefully the Lakers can do the same or they're in deep doo. Fingers crossed

I've never seen Gasol play so terrible in the playoffs. He's playing pacifist. Hopefully the Lakers will get at least one win in this series.

Time to make room for Dwight Howard next summer Beaten

Frustrating to see Gasol struggle, but I feel bad for him seeing Phil Jackson just yelling at Gasol. As much as it's frustrating, I think back to how the Lakers were before Gasol came over. Yes, I'd say he's soft but without him the Lakers don't have two championships. Besides, he can't be the only one to blame for allowing the Mavs to come back and win. I just hope Gasol can play a great game on Sunday so the Lakers can win one and perhaps get started on making history since no other NBA team has come back from a 3-0 deficit.

The Celtics protected their home against the Heat with a classic performance by KG and Rondo overcoming a dislocated elbow.

Don't know why Gasol is having so many problems this playoffs... Seems like Gasol is having a confidence problem....?

Regardless of what happens, the Lakers bench is gonna get a serious overhaul... They are no help whatsoever. Shake Head

The problem I see with the Lakers is not so much the bench but the point guard spot. The Lakers have some good players on the bench like Odom, Brown, and Barnes. I think the real weakness is Fisher's age. He got torched by Chris Paul in the New Orleans series, and while he hasn't done that bad against Jason Kidd he can no longer keep up with the younger, quicker point guards. Also, his offensive skills are dimenishing as well.
