Muscle Girl, finished, bleh, hate to admit I watched it. Going in new it wouldn't be a classic but the storyline looked okay, plus it had Yui, jeeeesh, what a bad drama. Actually the scenes with Yui and the wrestlers were okay, but they had as a co-star this K-Pop singer, only on the show bwcuase he's somewhat popular, he set a new low for actors, wow was he bad, his storyline wasn't really one, just an excuse to give him screentime. Unless you're a masochist or have run out of laxatives, would recommend skipping it. _________________

Finished watching Rookie. A cop drama that lacks creativity and imagination. It had plenty of good actors like Domoto Koichi, Uchiyama Rina, and Kuroki Hitomi, but the storyline was rather boring and uninteresting. Also, the subtitles were terrible. _________________

finished Jin!!!! Awesome series!
And since I'm having the ryoma fever, I've started Ryoma-den, my very first Taiga
Looks promising so far... _________________
Really good family drama with terrific chemistry and performances by the three leads (Abe Sadao, Ashida Mana and Suzuki Fuku) and the entire cast. Highly recommended if you're looking for something that's entertaining, funny and touching.

I watched the first Hagane no Onna without the benifit of sub titles -- and my Japanese is worse than gawdawful -- and I still got it. They are all very simple stories about the trials and tribulations of 4th graders.
That said, it would be pretty easy to watch the second series without having seen the first. Aside from Michiko, it's almost a whole new cast.
Click on button to reveal/hide spoiler:
Her boyfriend from the first series is out of town, and therefore out of the series. The school gets a new Principal, and mostly new teachers, and she gets a new class of kids to run after.
Hagane no Onna isn't one of those shows where you have to see the first series to understand the second.
And talking about second series... I started JIN 2 this afternoon, and son of a gun, I was through the first three episodes before I could stop myself. I really try to limit myself to one episode per day... just to make the shows last a bit. But this one just grabbed me right from the start. So far... very impressive.

Drat. I've been collecting that one and really looking forward to it because it's Yui's. Ah well. Forwarned, I'll lower my expectations and focus on the star. _________________

^^ Least Muscle Girl is only 24 minutes an episode so you'll be able to zip right thru it. Wanted to like it too becuase of Yui, shame when a fave of yours is in a show when it's a bad one. She does have a TV movie coming out in 2 months which looks much more promising. _________________

First episode of Soredemo, Ikite Yuku. Pretty sad, the episode reminded me of shows like Aishiteru and Maou, although I'm sure it will turn in a different direction. The awkwardness between Eita and Mitsushima Hikari was cute.
I feel like I've said this before, but Eita has the weirdest socks.
Currently on Gal Circle, it's so silly but so funny and cute. Fujiki Naohito is adorable as the cowboy, though I wish they'd given him another outfit, he's been wearing the same one for so many episodes! _________________
