cos ueto chan is a gangster with a scar under her lips
I totally agree! I also noticed this too! Actually when I first saw her in the drama with Emi Takei I immediately thought that was a young aya. They're all so gorgeous O_O

Japan is a very closed country, not really opened and easy for tourists. If you speak english you fright them and people don't like embarassing situations so they run away or will try to end the conversation asap. It's because when a japanese does sth it must be perfect, otherwise he doesn't do it, and as their english level is really desastrous, speaking english is embarrassing for them. So SPEAK JAPANESE.
Japanese people are very disciplined, almost soldier like. There are no military in the street but everyone is so civilized, be quiet in the metro, not to look at other one's eyes, sit well, no trash at all on the floor, japanese trains are ON TIME +/- 3 seconds the time expected. Everything is neat, organized, well thought. Impressive.
Overall japan is like a totally exotic destinaTion, although it is urbanized, the culture manners and way to behave are so far in my opinion the most different from western manners, among all otehr asian countries I've visited. It's because japan is an island and like australia it has a strong inner protective policy, economics, immgration etc everything is very protected (you can't even BUY a sim card for phone, you have to RENT it and even renting is complex procedure).
So le'ts talk about aya-chan.
I was disappointed.
Although aya is to be seen several times in a day, on tv cm, on tv ads in the metro, on magazine covers,
it is way easier to find stuff about AKB48 or even AV (porn) idols than JDRAMA actresses like the ones listed here on jdorama.
spent 2 days and a half shopping in tokyo. (maybe not enough ? I doubt it coz had I stayed longer I don't think I'd have been able to find more).
Spent a day at akihabara, akb48 to be found everywhere, or mangas, or goodies of mangas like collectible figures, or maid cafes or av/gravure shops BUT NO SIGN OF AYA AT ALL. The only thing i saw that wasn't anime nor porn is a disciunt sale for sakuraba nanami last calendar, lost among a tons of gravure (almost nude idols) photobooks and dvds.
Shibuya : fashion fashion fashion fashion. Nothing aya except in a good bookshop, i bought the latest PB of aya chan. Yeah i ve had a hard time findding it coz before that i ve been checking like 5 or 6 bookshop that were NOT selling it. Also saw a HEALTH magazine but didn't buy (700 yes or so for one or 2 pages). (I also bought the weekly shnen jump in the metro, but u see, mangas magazines like shonen are EVERYWHERE).
I tried several tower records and music selling shops, most of them didn't have aya's cds, or just the latest album from 2009. No PB. No calendar. T_T
In the end I failed to find the correct shop for goodies of jpop and jdramas actresses. I either found a manga anime store or a porn store or music store. Never found the right place. Bookshops sells the current on air magazines or the latest aya PB (lost within other serious pocket books written by famous people, politics or intellectuals). I NEVER FOUND the magical shop with aya goodies and calendar from 2003,2004,2005,2006,2007 etc.
and japanese people are not helpful, when I asked them they say "maybe over there, maybe go to that street they have bookshops etc but most of the time they don't know but they cannot say "no I don't know" because they are japanese, so they say very kindly "try this street" etc.
Or maybe they just want to keep the good shops for japanese. xD. Which is not impossible given the number of services, activities in japan, designed for the japanese market and reserved for japanese only (cause fully in japanese and because japanese are afraid of gaijin people).

pics will come later
Yeah, things like this was often said about Japan and Japanese people. But itLs really this much? A bit surprising, especially in a big city like Tokyo. I mean plenty of gaijin there. Many speaking english...
I so want to go there too. But too expensive
But the fact that you havenLt found any Aya stuff is a surprise and would be a big dissapointment I mean ILm sure Japan and Tokyo must still have been very impressive and fun, of course! But us Aya fans would also hope to find something nice in Aya-land, of course.
It surprises me. I mean her CDs and PBs in CD shops or book shops is nothing special and expectable there. Current zasshi can be found everywhere too, I guess.
But I would have hoped for some "idol fanshop," like you were talking about, too. Some shop where you can buy back issues, old calendars, especially digi photos and all kinds of fan stuff. A friend who was in Japan some times before told me about such shops. Many used PBs, CDs and fan stuff there. Sounds like dream land hehe. But you havenLt seen any? Not even in Akihabara?
Maybe many have closed in internet and ebay /Yahoo aution times? ThatLs sad
So you havenLt found any Aya stuff at all? Not even pamphlets or Ads?
You should have send me the Nanami stuff then at least LOL
AKB stuff in Akihabara is expectable as itLs their "homebase." But all mags have so much AKB and SKE stuff inside lately.

Hi aya fans...
i'm new fan of aya chan after i watched Nagareboshi. I'm impresses her acting that she can handle the "Risa" character so well (i like kinda angst character)
i notice there some scene don't have in download version
the scene when register their marriage...
anyone watched the dvd version for the last episode Nagareboshi? theres more scene after they kissing..
and the day after that Kengo give the key (with jellyfish key chain) to Risa...
i love the chemistry between them... in dvd version Aya-chan / Risa really want to look at Kengo's eyes but shes kinda shy every time their eyes meet....
more smiles than usual Risa...like the one when Risa with Makoto (1st boyfriend) the happy Risa...
i'm searching for interview for Nagareboshi...any article translation?

Yes they are very helpful and kind about findging your way and buying a ticket.
But when I looked for a place where to get a free wifi, like inside mac donalds, or where to get idol stuff, I felt they were very embarrassed.
