Just finished Dream again en 14 sai no haha. Both alright drama's, but a must watch for me because of Shida Mirai! Applaud She's the biggest talent in Nihon as far as I can see. And I see a lot Bonk Anywayz, I gave up on Bull doctor 3 eps ago, but since Gaijinmark posted a positive comment on ep 8 I'm considering of giving that ep a chance. Especially since he seems to agree on the previous eps, which were not entirely bad, but soooo mediocre Sleeping
Oh, and as stated: Shida Mirai fan much! Smile

I'm stuck on JIN 2, don't really feel like continuing after 8 episodes. Sigh. As for Bull Doctor, I'm just watching for Esumi Makiko, really like the family scenes cuz they're so adorable. Goro's character is a complete douche, and he's got just ONE expression. Someone ban him from acting please bleh

And she was still cute in Natsu no Koi wa Nijiiro ni Kagayaku.

Which I just finished. AS I said before very catchy. Matsumoto Jun was appropriately, and well cast, as the untalented son of a famous actor.

Yuko, as the older woman was loved by all.

And the little girl who played UMi was insanely cute.

I give it 8/10.

@ Junny- So you like that actor, do you? hehe

Kekekeke. Fujiki is just so awesome. In love Still waiting for a Fujik-Esumi reunion Fingers crossed

Goro... sigh. Seriously, why does he act? Whether he's happy, sad or angsty, it's just ONE expression. I actually feel sorry for Ishihara Satomi that her character loves his character, who is a douchbag. I'm like "wtf do you see in him??????" Shake Head

The funny thing is, he HAS admitted he's pretty much an ojisan in real life rofl It's hilarious, especially if you think of the role that made him famous: Suga Eiichiro.

While waiting for the next episodes of Bull Doctor and Don Quixote, I was looking for something to fill the gap and I think I struck gold with Ohsama no Resutoran:http://www.jdorama.com/drama.291.htm w00t!

I'm trying to milk this one so I'm only watching one episode a day and I'm only up to episode 3 and I know I shouldn't be making an early evaluation, but honestly, if the next 8 episodes consist of nothing but Yamaguchi and Ono playing "Rock, Paper, Scissors" it's still miles better than any of the offerings I've seen from 2011! Applaud

King's Restaurant is a classic, representative of the "golden age" of doramas.

Glad you mentioned Ono Takehiko; he's one of the best character actors around and has been for many years. When given a meaty role like in Ohsama no Resutoran, he really gets to show his acting chops.

And Yamaguchi Tomoko . . . Good

Have you seen Pandora:http://www.jdorama.com/drama.1277.htm?

It was a pretty much overlooked drama from 2008. But it's got a topnotch cast which includes Ono. I really liked it. Applaud

Just wrapped up all the episodes of Kimi no te ga sasayaite iru.

Man, that was a pretty solid drama. Characterization and acting was great and consistent, nothing felt overly exaggerated or fantastic, the plot progressed very well through each episode and covered a lot of ground without being convoluted. I think I appreciated it as much because of how the stories within each episode were structured very simply yet to great effect. I'd venture a guess that the yearly schedule offered a lot in terms of how they planned the story out.

I had some misgivings since it dealt with disability, but I got the same vibe from it as Aishiteiru to itte kure, and it's great that it turned out very well.

Still watching Zenkai Girl, if this wasn't the only show I was watching, I would have dropped it already.
