oh man this is pretty shocking even for a rumor... I mean, I'm happy that she found someone that she can cherish and vice versa, but damn the 16 age gap is really huge. I always felt that Aya is young and can't imagine her getting married, at least to someone that is 16 years older. I also felt that Aya was getting kind of desperate or read somewhere that she really wanted to get married and felt that being 26 was getting late. I just hope that the marriage wont end up like Kim Kardashian's and that once everything settles down we can expect Aya to announce more upcoming roles! I only have Kou Kou Kyoushi left to watch... Anyways let's hope for a prosperous 2012 with more surprising and wonderful news!
koukou kyoushi is a great drama..you'll enjoy it _________________

I think it's just a gossip.
But if that's true I wish her all the best. I'm little jealous that she won't be my wife () but as long as she is happy I'm OK with that

hi guys...i found 'Satoko Tatemichi~takara mono' pv song on youtube.... Ueto chan sang this song in "Ai wa Mieru" SP drama...
here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7aUXdZBoq
I actually just finished Kou Kou Kyoushi and Ai wa Mieru. Ai wa Mieru was such a huge tearjerker and Kou Kou Kyoushi was okay. It had a good plot, but I didn't really enjoy it cause it was so serious and I didn't really like the "dark" theme.

Aya-chan looks so KAWAII in those screencaps and her CMs make me want to drink some even though I don't drink any alcohol
on another note:

Management for both actress Aya Ueto, 26, and Hiroyuki Igarashi, 42, a member of the all-male group EXILE, said Tuesday that report sin Mondayfs tabloids that the two would get married in the spring were not true.
The tabloids reported that Ueto had let it be known to friends, family and her talent management agency that the couple, who have been dating since last year, are planning to get married during cherry blossom season.
Sports Nippon reported that details of the wedding have yet to be finalized, but said that Igarashi, known to fans as gHiro,h met Uetofs mother shortly after they began dating and that the pair have a good relationship. Insiders report that Uetofs mother often goes to dinner with them and finds Hiro to be gmasculine but modest.h
Friends of the couple also say that Ueto, who currently does TV commercials for a number of high-profile sponsors, will continue to appear in ads and television shows after the couple are wed.
A spokesman for EXILEfs management said Igarashi is busy with his work, including getting ready a tour that starts in the spring.
I say this is quite a relief for me, but I still say chances that they will eventually get married might still be pretty high.
Also, does anyone know where I can find or request English subtitles for Aya's SP dramas: Koto (2005) and Kekkon (2009)? and has anyone has seen Yome wa Mitsuboshi (2001), Nada Sou Sou (2005) and Misora Hibari Tanjo Monogatari (2005)? those are the only 5 SP dramas of Aya that I have yet to watch. Would really like to know where they're available.
I'm one of those that think 16 years is a large age gap. But in this particular case, what's always kind of bothered me is when I've read that he met Aya when she was 12 yrs old. I mean that's like an elementary school teacher trying to get with one of his students.

Ri Kouran was AWESOME. I'm still not convinced that Aya Ueto fully sang the songs in Mandarin. It sounded too good, but it could be voiced over like in the music videos. The Mandarin dialogues didn't sound spectacular as the songs, but bravo for Aya-chan to even attempt speaking in Mandarin

When I read the rumor that she was getting married, I was both happy and sad. Of course, I was happy for Aya. But I was sad because an age gap of 16 years is quite something.
But now that I read it was not true and that she's not getting married, I am kind of relieved. Sorry if that sounds harsh, though...
It would, in my opinion, be a shocker if Aya, when she really decides on marrying, would marry someone who is not Japanese, and not Asian by any means. Would be something I'd jump high for. Such a crazy thing.
