Started watching Big Money:http://jdorama.com/drama.627.htm.

Even though it's got two of my least favorite actors, Nagase Tomoya and Aya Okamoto, it's very good!

I think a lot of people might think this is boring thinking it's about stocks and banks, etc., but it's really a drama about revenge. It's also got Taizo Harada who is always good, once again proving my theory that comedians make the best villans, and Fumiyo Kohinata as the goofiest yakuza boss ever ("My job is to scare people!" hehe ). Thru three episodes so far and really liking it. Applaud

Takenaka Naoto and Katsuhisa Namase fall into that category as well. Victory! Peace!

I'm watching Love generation, one episode is left. Despite a terrible first episode the drama is actually pretty nice and the cast is great. Honestly it took some time to learn to like Matsu Takako who potrays a little brat but even so it's a good old style romantic drama.

I quit Long Love Letter after the fifth episode because despite I was very curious to know what the HELL happened to that school some parts of the story were too clumsy and stupid (like the nympho biatch character and how she defeats a bunch of men and teens with one stick hahaha.). Perhaps I'll keep on watching for Tokiwa Takako and Kubozuka Yosuke though, I really appreciate them.

I just finished watching JIN 2. Itfs a bit of a disappointment. Generally I donft watch sequels because they end up being disappointing, but JIN 1 left so many opened questions, I had to find the answers. Unfortunately they used everything they could find to bring tears to our eyes short of pushing shopped onions to our face.

Ifm watching a Korean drama next for a change of air (and era). Wefve got a nice Korean drama thread on this board so I donft feel like a traitor talking about it.

And thanks to whoever came up with this board to keep our minds alert with math problems every time we want to post something. A friend and our fingers are two things we can always count on.

Yup... A really disappointing sequel... If I could, I demand a refund.

Love Generation just finished I rushed to another drama which I quit after the third episode (couldn't find the fourth episode at the time) Long Vacation. It was better than L G, part of the same cast played in both. The story was more mature and except for "Momoko"(Inamori Mizumi) who I secretly dreamt to punch in the face...everybody was fine.
I'm wondering what shall I watch next.

She was pushing the kawai-ness a bit too far for my nerves Bonk The way she speaks is so obnoxious I don't know if (japanese) men find it appealing but on my opinion it was just horrible to hear ^^

To each his own I guess. I really liked Inamori in LV. I thought she was great.

Just a heads up then, you probably won't want to watch "Beach Boys". I thought she was very good in that as well.

As I said I hated the character Momoko, but I have nothing personnal against the actress Big Grin
I'm perfectly ready to see Inamori in another show and make an opinion about her performance. From one role to another actors can be very different...

Best example is Ayase Haruka, awesome in Byakuyakou and Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu and irritating in Hotaru no Hikari (here again trying too hard to be cute = epic fail).

That could actually be an idea for the next jdorama, something with Inamori!

Completed Saigo Kara Nibanme no Koi over the weekend. I thought the script is better off as a play. It's kind of dry as a 10 episode drama. For once, a 50 year old Ohtosan gets more screen time than the hunk (Sakaguchi Kenji) . Since the time she became the charming Yakuza wife, I am beginning to appreciate Uchida Yuki better as an actress (no longer a bimbo). She's great in this drama.

Started watching Haken no Hinkaku 'accidentally'. I thought it was Ogon no Buta.....gee....they are too similar.

Anyone watching those that are currently on air?

If you can handle intense, maybe you want try Aishiteru starring Inamori. Really good drama too.

Finished Rich Man, Poor Woman, like its mundane title, the show is pretty forgettable. I can't understand how anyone could like Satomi's character.

I thought Misako Tanaka (another underrated, underappreciated actress) was great as the counselor. Applaud

OT: Finished ep 10 of "Higashino Keigo Mysteries". They told us who got killed, who did the killing, I guess the "mystery" was finding out why Shinohara's boyfriend didn't want to have kids. Head Scratch
