We just came off a rain storm. 6 feet of rain! A lot of basements were flooded and our power went out for four hours. I think it was out all night closer to Toronto. 
We have sun out right now, but the clouds still loom...

There was flooding in the streets of Toronto and Mississauga. We got off here pretty easy compared to them. Thank goodness.
It's still raining on and off right now. My baseball game (our last one, too!) was cancelled until further notice, and my landscaping projects had to stop. It's a good thing my books arrived when they did!
On a side note, I'm starting Doctor X today! I'm also downloading 35-sai no koukousei, as well! Nearly halfway done.

That's as crazy as rain in So Cal in July.
We get an inch or so almost daily but it's been clear and gorgeous all week till today. Supposed to have a Tropical storm this weekend. We will see.

We had record rain in Downtown L.A. today... A monumental 0.04 inches, breaking the old record of 0.03 inches back in 1969...

I'll say. We survived this storm. No tornado in my town, but there were a few blown over tries. We did keep our power though.

Shudder! I've never experienced one. Mind you, last time I said I'd never experienced an Earthquake. I've experienced three since then. 
The storming isn't over, however. We're supposed to get a thunderstorm today. Which sucks, because I have a soccer game tonight. We play, rain or shine.

Yes it is! The league will cancel a game if they think it's too dangerous. It's just cloudy right now, so it's still on. We'll have to see.
