I really wanna watch SHODO GIRLS too.... it looks interesting...
and I agree that Narumi is really talented young actress
in all the dramas that I'd seen with her... she really did an excellent job

So does anyone know how a guy in California can check out these upcoming movies soon? It's hard to get a hold of the dramas and movies, but I really want to see Bushido 16 and Shodo Girls.

Riko Narumi stars in mystery film "Shojotachi no Rashinban"

Teen actress Riko Narumi will star in a mystery movie titled "Shojotachi no Rashinban," directed by Shunichi Nagasaki ("Nishi no Majo ga Shinda"). The film is based on a book that won a prize in the 1st Fukuyama Mystery Literature Newcomer Awards two years ago.

Set in Fukuyama, the story revolves around a group of four high school girls who were part of a legendary theatrical group called Rashinban (which means "compass"). The group went on hiatus after a member suddenly died, but four years later the truth behind her death is unraveled and a plan for revenge is set in motion.

Narumi's supporting cast consists of Shiori Kutsuna, Ayaka Morita, and Mayuu Kusakari. "Shojotachi no Rashinban" is scheduled for theatrical release next spring.

Riko Narumi to release photobook on 20th birthday

Actress Narumi Riko is going to release a new photo book called �eRICO DAYS�e, her first one in five years, on her 20th birthday on August 18th.

�eRICO DAYS�f is a commemoration of Narumi�fs 20th birthday, and the pictures were taken by up-and-coming photographer Kawashima Kotori (�eBABYBABY�f, �eMirai-chan�f). Similar to his previous works, he didn�ft just meet up with Narumi to take pictures for a couple of days or even weeks, he dedicated a whole year in order to photograph the young actress and all of her facets. They began taking pictures during the cherry blossom season in Tokyo, moving onto the beautiful beach of Amami, enjoying the winter scenery of Sado, visiting Narumi�fs own home, and eventually taking their last pictures during the cherry blossom season in Tokyo again.

Narumi discovered Kawashima�fs works during her high school days, when he took the jacket pictures for bands such as the Ging Nang Boyz. This is also the reason why she personally sent him a love call this time around.

She said, �gI didn�ft expect him to accept the offer to take the pictures for my photo book, so I was really happy when he agreed to do it. It would have become a completely different photo book if we had done it with a different photographer.�h

The first thing she had to learn was that when working with Kawashima, she�fs not just a photographic subject of a photographer like in any of her previous photo shootings. �gHe�fs a bit different,�h she commented as she looked back. �gWe�fve gradually become closer during this long period, and I found myself trying not to force a pose for the camera anymore. I also came up with the idea of taking pictures at my home, although it�fs not a common location for a photo book.�h

Speaking of which, Narumi tried her best to clean up her room before the shooting. �gI tried to tidy it up as good as possible and put away all the useless things.�h In some of the pictures, you can see her relaxing in front of her bookshelf packed with all kinds of CDs and books. �gI�fm glad that it turned out as such a cheerful collection of photographs!�h Her favorite pictures were from the beach of Amami, which she visited for the first time in her life.

Turning twenty is a very important time in everyone�fs life, and for Narumi, it meant learning more about herself, setting herself some goals, and becoming more aware of her weak points.

When asked about things she�fd like to improve about herself, she replied, �gI tend to snap very easily, therefore I�fd like to become a calmer person. I�fm also always thinking too much about all kind of things, so I�fd like to become a bit better at reading someone�fs mood.�h In regards to her work as an actress, she revealed that she�fd like to challenge herself to a pure love story, a family drama, and a role in which she has to perform dance scenes. �gI want to do things that I usually don�ft,�h she said enthusiastically, �gI always want to do new and interesting things!�h

�eRICO DAYS�f will be released as a B5 hard-cover photo book with a total of 144 pages on August 18th

Riko Narumi to guest star in episode 5 of "Kashi no Ie"

Narumi Riko will be appearing in the 5th episode of TBS Autumn 2015 drama "Okashi no Ie" showing on 18 November at 11.53pm. The drama features Odagiri Jo as the lead character Taro who manages a snack shop with his grandmother in a suburb area of Tokyo and interacts with his buddy played by Katsuji Ryo and childhood friend Reiko played by Ono Machiko who moved back as a single mother after her divorce. Narumi plays the role of Yamamoto Marie, a colleague of Reiko who works at the same restaurant. By chance, Reiko spots Marie and Taro talking and wonders about what connection they may have.

Narumi commented that as her character is supposed to be a mysterious person, she was very excited about playing such an unique character and expressed her joy at being at ease on set even though it was her first time there. She also praised the quality of the production which is unlike what you would expect from a late-night drama.

Riko Narumi marries non-celebrity man

On September 23rd, actress Riko Narumi announced through her agency that she has gotten married to a non-celebrity man.

Narumi commented, "It's personal, but at this time, I would like to announce that I have gotten married. He is a non-celebrity, and we registered our marriage in mid-September. I would like to continue my work as before, so it would make me happy if you would watch over me warmly. Please continue to support me."
