Katayama Reo [片山怜雄] If there's one actor whose scenes I always made sure NOT to miss in 2003's Waterboys, it was Katayama Reo. I loved his role as the hard-working, sometimes arrogant, but truly soft-hearted Captain of the swim team, Kitajima Daichi. I also thought it was great that he was able to show the goofy side of his character as well. It's too bad they didn't zoom in more on him in the final Waterboys episode, especially during the dancing but I definitely spotted him during most of performances. Although it's a little hard to find information on him, I'm definitely looking out for him or any works he may do, or have done, in the future. Oh, and did I mention I think he's quite handsome too? Well, I think he is and I don't say that about many guys either. | Yamada Takayuki [山田孝之] I first saw Yamada Takayuki in Waterboys and after that in Sekachuu, and although he has many other dramas and projects out that I haven't kept up with as yet, what I've seen so far in his acting skills is that he has natural talent. He can display a character's goofiness, seriousness and determination without any problems and he's definitely someone to continue watching out for. | |
