I think a movie seems pretty likely. It's the normal progression, right? Series, Special.. Movie (often differs from the series and special storylines..)
I guess time will tell.
I didn't quite understand what you guys were saying about Tamaki. Is it possible he has a weight problem? A lot of people mentioned he looked really thin in the special and someone quoted him indicating he didn't want to gain the weight back, right? Maybe he had to bulk up for another role and didn't feel comfortable?
Funny.. my ex told me (I saw her last week) that she noticed I looked leaner (she's got a weird way of saying things as a non native speaker - she meant I was actually less muscular) than last she saw me. Funny thing is I feel awful right now having fallen off my normal fitness routine as a result of some other life transitions and feel self-concious about my decline. I just goes to show how different people can interpret the same thing differently.. _________________

Some people noted that his face seemed gaunt/hollow-cheeked.... I didn't think there was that much of a difference...

I have to agree.. maybe we just don't have highly developed senses when it comes to analyzing guy looks? I'm usually really perceptive with observing behavior and facial characteristics much more than I am about physical appearances. While a few shots certainly gave different impressions of actors that I knew, I didn't specifically see a huge change in Chiaki. _________________

Hiroshi Tamaki Special Interview
Oricon: This is your first album in a little more than three years. What approach did you want to take this time?
Hiroshi: Even though, in my current situation, it's difficult for me to concentrate solely on music, I wanted to create an album that could link me to the people that listen to my music. In other words, when people listen, I think they can know me as not an actor but as someone they know on a more personal level.
Oricon: So you wanted to include a lot of strong messages this time?
Hiroshi: Yeah, I'm not very good with love songs and they're embarrassing for me. (laugh) So more than that, I wanted to tell people what's been on my mind lately and so, yeah, there are quite a few songs with messages.
Oricon: What songs particularly left you with a song impression?
Hiroshi: "With" and "Beautiful Day." I sang both of these songs at live shows and they were great memories for me. But since these songs were made specifically to be played live, we had to change the arrangements for recording to keep that feeling.
Oricon: In your lyrics to "With," the words really seem to set the scene well. How did you go about that?
Hiroshi: I wanted to express the feeling of "Life can't be lived alone. We all need a helping hand." I really like it when "real life" scenes are set up well, whether it is in a movie or in music. And I did that consciously. Other than that though, when I heard the song for the first time, the theme sprang out at me and I tried to take that and put it into words.
Oricon: Your voice is definitely not excessive by any means and sounds really natural I think but, do you think that it is a result of the way you write your lyrics?
Hiroshi: Well, if you suck at something, it's ok that you suck at it is all. (laugh) More than that though, I think that expressing life through words is important. I want to convey my feelings to other people through my lyrics so I concentrate to put myself in the lyrics and imagine what those feelings are when I sing for the recording. I think I picked this up from my experience as an actor.
Oricon: How do you switch back and forth between actor and singer?
Hiroshi: They are two totally different worlds and even though I take a while to get in the right frame of mind when I switch roles, after a while I somehow seem to "get the engine started." But there are times when I'm recording and somewhere in my head I think, "I've got to remember my line..."
Oricon: And the other way around?
Hiroshi: The other way around really isn't a problem. If it's a question of which is easier to switch to, acting is definitely the easier of the two. (laugh)
Oricon: Which do you consider to be "home" and which would be "away" for you?
Hiroshi: Even though I was "made" as an actor, I'd like to be known more as a musician. There is a part of me that wants other people to understand me and, in that sense, acting is "away" I guess. But, since I have both, I'm trying to balance the two.
Oricon: So when both Hiroshi Tamakis are become complete...
Hiroshi: I'm still only 28 now, and as my experience in music and acting increases, I'll probably be touched by a lot of different things. As I go into my 30's, I want to expand my abilities as an actor playing different types of roles and I don't want to commit myself to a genre or style of music either. I want to create an image, destroy it, and then begin working on the next challenge.

Nodame Cantabile in Europe Rokechi Map has been released!
It contains behind the scenes at various cities in Europe,
Tamaki-kun & Juri-chan's long interview, and other casts' short interviews.
Tamaki-kun was always cool whereas Juri-chan was always cheerful while shooting. I laughed when I saw Tamaki-kun keep eating spaghetti even after he finished dining scene.
I'm really looking forward to the release of Nodame SP in May!
looks likea lt happen when i was gone wow

It's really funny - you notice that his food and both wine glasses are covered with plastic... while he's eating it?
nah..
you can see that the plastic is removed from the spot where tamaki-kun got the spaghetti..
the wine is indeed covered with plastic but i guess it's for cleanliness sake?? _________________

Thanks meoinkie2. I went to crunchyroll but there was too much buffering (not like youtube, which is good by me) so I don't think the series can be enjoyed. How do I d/l the streaming vid from crunchyroll?

use the add-on from firefox, Downloadhelper.. but you have to stream the vid completely first before it can be downloaded..
another is you cud use RealPlayer.. you must have Real Player installed in ur PC much preferable are the latest versions like RealPlayer BETA, GOLD etc..
once installed, when viewing certain online vids, like YT, CR, even Tudou, moving ur cursor on the upper right side of the video screen there wud be a small rectangular window popping out which says DOWNLOAD THIS VIDEO..
