The percussionist, Toyoshima Yukari, is a musician too. Here is her home page.
Thank you!

But it wasn't classical music......?
I think I've posted before that it doesn't have to be classical music. Any type of movement that appeals to me (in a performance, not so much on the radio) sets me to tears. Hence why I got tears performing in a band myself.

It was mentioned in the Ueno Juri thread back in October 2006:

Swing Jazz Girl
XEBOK[ Fuji TV Ueno Juri
This was mentioned in D-Addict's 'Upcoming Dramas' section. However there are no further information at this point to know if this is just speculation. Personally I'd love this this done, especially if some the original cast from "Swing Girls" will appear in this drama.

It would be interesting... But there would be much more expectation as well.
Maybe it could be a Nodame meets Swing Girl kinda thing.

Hmmmm... it's not shocking at all. I felt they'd make a sequel right after I saw the movie. And not only because it was grand, but because there's so much you can do with the plot now. _________________

I just hope they don't recast some peeps. Especially the main band members. _________________

With such a large cast, it might be difficult.
And as I said, there'll be higher expectations: story-wise and (musical) performance-wise...

When they turn "Waterboys" into a drama, only a couple of the original cast members made cameo appearances.
Come to think of it, unless all the girls flunked their exams and have to keep repeating, they should have graduated by now.
So if there's a sequel or a dramatization, I don't have much hope to see the original band members making more than cameos.
