I had Swing Girls on my HD for forever and never got around to it. After watching Nodame, I finally realized my error. While there were many great mornents in the movie, one that really makes me smile is when Sekiguchi Kaori (Motokariya Yuika) comes to join the band with her recorder and holds it up. Priceless.

I'm totally unfamiliar with the recorder: for a moment, I thought it was some kinda hookah pipe or something...

It's my understanding that if you're a product of the Japanese educational system, you're very familiar with the recorder...Madoka, that scene got a grin out of me too...PS, love your avy..KOR is great

I remember playing the recorder in school, so that scene was quite nostalgic. Thanks for the complement on my avatar; after all these years, KOR is still my favorite anime, and Ayukawa my favorite character.

We have to play the recorder in elementary school as well. I still have mine lying around. I was verra good at it. _________________
