Oda did not disappoint, but the casting of the two women in his life falls flat. The chemistry doesn't quite work. It is hard to imagine him in love with the immature Eren (Juri Ueno) or her mother (Shinobu Otake). With this cast, they might have done better to let Sanma Akashiya play the husband and let Oda use his considerable talents elsewhere.
But Oda is a pro, and in his hands Jodan Janai was still the most pleasant way to waste an hour this week.
This particular reviewer/critic had his/her head stuck in the 60's - Akashiya Sanma?! Whether the chemistry between mother and daughter works remains to be seen, as episode 1 deals only with the revelation of the casts' relationship to each other.
just finished watching ep 2, imho it's better than ep 1!! its funnier!!
i just noticed that Oda has more chemistry with the mom, Juri-chan is more suitable to be his daughter!

True to it's title, our protagonist, Keita finds himself encountering a "jodan janai!" experience every week. Poor fella though it's partly his fault. It might get boring as twl_85 said.
Synopsis of Ep3 from the official website:
Click on button to reveal/hide spoiler:
By a strange turn of events, Eren learns of Keita's secret. When Keita returns home, she punches him and then bolts out of the house. Keita searches desperately for Eren but cannot find her even as dawn breaks.
One day, Keita receives a job offer from Shuzo Sugita, who works in a foodstuffs company. Shuzo is Rie's wine buddy and she had asked him to look for a position for Keita.
Finding that Rie has intruded into his life more than necessary, Keita tells her, "I want you to go back to France" but Rie defiantly tells him that if he forces her out, she will reveal their relationship to Eren.
In the end, Keita goes to work in Shuzo's company. However, owing to some mistake, he ends up working in one of the chain restaurants instead of the system management department. On top of this, the restaurant manager is none other than the besotted Saeko... ...

See what women will do to you?
And see what he does to the women around him!
I think Keita's experiencing yakudoshi. Hmm, maybe this is the male version of last year's TBS drama Hanayome wa Yakudoshi which starred Shinohara Ryoko. It feels similar.
