Hey, I am first time posting in this forum....very happy to have discovered this forum on this favourite drama of mine...i love ueto aya and oikawa mitsuhiro...so pretty and so cool....they are a perfect couple.... episode 4 was awesome...

hope they will be together in the end....

BYJ has that hairdo since he is filming a period drama now. its not because of afashion trend that he carries that look, besides Korean Actors are not that adventurous with hairstyles unlike their Japanese counterparts.

Sorry to ask, but I didn't watch the Korean version so I'm kinda curious Bae Yong Jun's role in the Korean version is whose role in the Japanese version of Hotelier?

i'm a huge fan of the original .. but this new one is likeable too

i was a little.. i would say 'disappointed' with the male casting but oikawa was a surprise... surprisingly good <3

ueto aya is much more mature now.. compared to the volley ball show which i last watched with her in it..

the drama's so far so good.. my only lament that it's too fast!!! but considering that it only has half the episodes compared to the original.. it's no wonder~

does anyone have the theme song? i love it~

I don't like how Aya got back with that one dude. Altho he's my favorite male character, I don't like his evil desires. Despite his sad story about not having a family, does aya remember how he got mad in his room and threw a glass on the ground, cutting the general manager's face! I don't understand how that scene was brushed off so lightly. In a US hotel i'm sure if any staff member is assaulted, the hotel has the right to kick you out. I'm not sure how in Japan they can let you stay after hitting you and the cutting you. Newaiz, Aya be more observant of the situation. That man just wants Aya and doesn't care about anything else. He's selfish.

there's a subtitle thread that should be linked on the d-addicts page for the hotelier drama. These are english subs.

I believe it's 9 eps. Way too short.

Glad you like it too! Oikawa is pretty devious looking in this drama. I think he doesn't look that bad but his Korean counterpart seems more like a guy that'd charm Aya, don't you agree?

Some people complained that the drama is too slow! It has so little eps. I have the radio rip of the theme song sung by Aya Ueto. That's the one you want?

9 episodes are too few....is there a chance they might extend the number of episodes....but i know japanese dramas are usually quite short compared to korean ones.


the pace of the story is very fast compared to the korean version...but i still like it cos ueto is so mature and sweet whilst mitsuhiro oikawa is surprisingly good and handsome looking tooo....

true true, i think oikawa (by default) looks evil.. hahah! oops, i mean.. more like.. eh... scheming? he looks like he ALWAYS has something bad up his sleeves but i have a thing for guys with a sad past ~ haha ... perhaps it's the 'bad boy' preference again. hahaa.

it's quite crazy how kyoko can go back to mizusawa so fast after knowing his intentions. i mean.. yeah alright, he looks good when he cries but .. in the preview next week, she's already saying that she'll go to america with him?

i love the standard 9-11 episode japanese drama but sometimes i appreciate korean's standard 16-20 episode dramas because they can have more time to develop everything fully.

The especailly creepy part is when they were looking for the little kid and then Oikawa rolls up in his car and rolls down his window and stares at the kid. WTF!? He looks like a child stalker!!! THen he goes and talks to the kid. OMG that scene is so wrong. His evil look doesn't help either Not that I hate him I don't agree with aya just SUDDENLY liking him back cause he has no parents. I feel sorry for him but that's not a good enough reason for everything that he's done. Going to America? See! He just wants his goods and he's gonna run away back to his nice life with Aya.

If the show is good, the eps should be longer. Or else I feel like there wasn't enough

child stalker!! haha.. i didn't think that far~!! but i understand what you're feeling.. it's just that evil feel! i felt creepy too at the very end of the first ep, when he said 'i've come to see you'.. and that stare.. gees. if i were kyoko, my first thought would be.. gees! dangerous stalker!! and yeah.. it's just not believable for her sudden reciprocation.. in the korean version, kyoko's counterpart had a lot of time before she decided to go back to him.. but i think her development was sacrificed due to the short episodes..

yeah.. good ones should have longer eps!!!
