Omg ep 10 was superb! Sentimental with some comical parts! It is making me laugh and cry!

It is so true when Ken thought about his love for Rei. It is nothing compared to marriage as marriage will not only affect the two person in love but at the same time everyone else who knows them. It is such a touching episode with scenes of Rei's late grandfather, Ken and Rei's childhood, Rei's parents etc. It is sad that Rei no longer address Ken as Kenzo anymore. However it is nice to know that Rei's mum actually predicted Rei and Ken togther. It sort of means she had already taken Ken as a son-in-law.
So looking forward to the final episode! The trailer had someone shouting Kenzo. omg, did Rei address Ken as Kenzo again? So eager for the last episode yet sad that it is all gonna end.

Finally, finished...

Tada sensei...Tada sensei...He's that kind of person isn't he. I don't like that open ending. It isn't terrible but it isn't that likeable. For the moment while Yosei was talking to Rei, I almost though Rei would go back in time and the story repeats from there onwards. It was quite a frightening thought to be honest.
Kenzo's speech. Well, I was speechless. Tears were rolling down my eyes for him. I could imagine his feelings. What Tada-sensei did was just too awesome though. Really amazing. I didn't completely like his character until now.
Also...Kenzo setting himself up to return to the future is a bit...upsetting. I could see why he did it but if he had stayed longer, maybe the future would've changed. The ring could've changed the future. Overall I still like this drama very very much. Very emotional finale and certainly liked it. I think the ending could've been better put but the rest of the episode was fabulous.
Yeah, I just finished watching as well. Really amazing, I noticed that the raw is uploaded in the morning (Monday) in Veoh and the view hit 2000 in the afternoon (Singapore time).

Well, up until watching the finale, I thought this drama couldn't be any better to Tokyo Love Story. Similar plot in the beginning--light and cheerful, enjoyable by all as we are made to long the expected end: Kenzou and Rei be together.
And in the middle, it started getting depressed, slow paced, just like Tokyo Love Story. Still, I was 100% sure the ending would be as everyone expected--or at least would expect. If that is the case, I wouldn't rate this drama any higher except for its lovely music composition all over from the very beginning to the end.
But I was wrong. Surprise really made me rethink, and re-rate. Yes, I would never expect Tada sensei would do such things. Now I pity him for that
Anyway, what I really liked from the drama is the music. Anyone object?

No objections the music was good, the ending as well since I didnLt mind so much:

with whom Rei would end up or if it was left unresolved at end since I liked both Tada and Ken - as men in real life, they had both qualities and negative sides. I donLt see the need for a second season as the time travelling started to get a bit boring, a special perhaps?
Concerning Yamashita Tomohisa, ILm always a bit divided since his acting skills can be The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Good as in Nobuta or IWGP, Bad/OK as in Long Love Letter or Kurosagi, and Ugly as in Lunch Queen or Sorewa ... I would say in Proposal Daisakusen he was on the good side of things.

hmm i felt the ending could have been much better, and touching. unlike some of the previous episodes, this episode didn't touch me as much. i guess the happiest part of the last episode was when rei finally addressed him as kenzo again.
haha well i liked the whole show really a lot. it's sort of the first of its type. hope the dramas next season will be as good too!

I just finished watching ProDai ep. 11, and all I can say is that I'm a bit disappointed... I like the series, but I don't like the ending.

The ending could've been better, MUCH better. I actually thought that the yousei would send Rei back in time so that she could fix things, which would result in an ending where Ken and Rei would end up getting married, or at least something similar to that. At the very least, I wish they could've made an ending with closure, instead of leaving it hanging like that. I know people would disagree with me, as others would prefer an open ending, but I for one, am not satisfied.
i actually share nearly the same thoughts on the ending...

i also thought rei might go back in time when the fairy showed up in the church and the'd be together...i guess i would have liked that more than an open end. it's kinda obvious they're looking at the possibility of an SP or something.
anyway, going back to the drama and its ending. i knew tada had both his hands with the cufflinks. and for the sake of kenzo and rei, i really wished he'd give up. and i actually expected he will. i dunno..he's that typical nice person ~ such a gentleman and all. not that ken is not. well, as what was said they both have their good and bad points. i have nothing against tada, i respect him. very noble.
and i guess the best thing i loved in the last episode was kenzo's speech. knowing through the course of the series how difficult it was for him, he finally conveyed his feelings. i cried a lot. and there goes the music.
i love the music as well. one of the things that made me love this series. another thing was the friendship between the 5 of them >.~

Finally finished the last episode.

For me, the most touching part wasn't Ken's speech. It was Rei recalling how Ken was there for her everytime. The flashback of the photos made her realized that Ken always cared for her. His way of caring for her always goes a big roundabout before reaching her. She found out that only at this point and was regretful for choosing not to accept him. She always thought that Ken never express his love for her but now she realized that she was wrong. Ken had did it many times. He kiss for her already tells alot about his feelings for her. He hinted her when he throw the water balloon at the can. He expressed his feeling when he hugged her from the back. He never gave up on her. She gave up on him and now she regretted that decision.
We've seen Ken regretting from episode 1-10. In episode 11, we see him finally getting the courage to speak up. Instead of the pondering over the pass, why not strive for the future? I can say that in episode 11, Ken has given up being "regretful". This episode we see Rei regretting. It is a fresh new way of looking at things because we've been looking from Ken perspective all along.
I respect Tada-san. He really is a noble guy. He saw how uneasy Rei was after the speech made by Ken and he could have easily just let things go his way. However, he chooses to let Rei sort out her feelings. I expected both hand to have the button too as from the past episode, Tada-san is shown as a person worth respecting. Someone who doesn't expect his kindness to be returned. In the past when the whole class thought that he was a boring and unsocialable teacher, he never seeks to redress himself. He just try his best to be a good teacher. Giving without the intend of any rewards. That's Tada-san. *Salute*
i also thought rei might go back in time when the fairy showed up in the church and the'd be together...

No, I wouldn't expect that. Because the lesson learnt from this drama, as being told by yosei to Rei is this: Even when a person (in this case Kenzou) time-travelled back to the past, he can't change himself. He himself will remain the same. So, instead of going back to the past, it will be better off if he starts thinking of the present and the future, and changing them.
If Rei goes back in time, then she won't change anything. Umm, at least that's what the director wants to tell us.
Well, correct me If I catch it wrongly
As for the best moment in ep11, it's not in Kenzou's speech. To me, it is when Rei did some flashbacks in her head, realizing that the one giving up is actually her, not Kenzou as he hints several times in the past. Haha, to be honest, this gives me another point of view as I used to blame all the happenings to Kenzou who doesn't speak up.
Oh ya, one more thing: still, the sweetest thing in this drama--to me, haha you can object though--is how Ken turns out to be Kenzou by that repeated scene of eraser thingy.
