Princess Toyotomi is the next film Haruka will be starring in with a release date of May 28th, some info on it:
The film is an adaptation of Manabu Makime�fs 2009 novel which was nominated for the Naoki prize and has drawn comparisons to Dan Brown�fs �gThe Da Vinci Code�h for its historical mystery motif.
Haruka Ayase, Masaki Okada, and Shinichi Tsutsumi play a team of elite accountants from the National Audit Bureau in Tokyo, the department responsible for reviewing the final accounts of national expenditures and revenues. During their review, they stumble upon a secret which has remained closely guarded for over 400 years. Long ago, before Japan was unified under one rule, the Toyotomi Clan clashed with Tokugawa Ieyasu and were eventually defeated in the Tokugawa shogunate�fs Siege of Osaka. In the film�fs alternate version of history, descendants of the Toyotomi Clan were actually hidden away and protected by Osakan citizens, leading to a bizarre situation in which Osaka could actually be considered an independent country.
Ayase plays Torii, a young female investigator with a keen natural instinct named Torii. Okada plays a fresh-faced rookie to the team, a half-Japanese, half-French investigator named Gainsbourg Asahi. Tsutsumi, on the other hand, plays their no-nonsense leader Hatsumi Matsudaira, a doggedly-determined veteran investigator who�fs earned the nickname �gDemon Matsudaira�h.
Toho will be releasing �gPrincess Toyotomi�h in Japan on May 28, 2011

^^ She was serious in this film though she was the only one, Oppai Volleyball, finally got around to watching it. Wasn't too bad, a teen movie all the way but that kind of lame humor is needed at times, like everyone else was really rooting for them to win that final game. _________________
