By no means I'm saying that GTO dorama is bad, I just prefer the anime.
As for KKM: I got a few episodes, just didn't appeal to me though I can't really remember what happened in the show cept for the toilet and yaoi, so I deleted it it's still ongoing right?

KKM is certainly a chick flick!
Lots of pretty boys but the way it spoofs all the "going to another world to save every one" shows is really funny.
I like the artwork too.

yes we should definitely start a cosplay pix share thread or something, that'd be interesting.
@super#1: yes very overrated indeed, i understand your frustration, i heard so many people complained, not just ME and there, even in their forums too. are you planning on retiring? i hope not. im planning to cosplay next year as (ask me and ill tell you) and looking forward to see you there. _________________

I'm not retiring. In fact, this year will be my busiest year ever and I will have been to more events than any previous year. I used to only go to AX, but last year I got so frustrated and started going to other conventions, large and small. I made my first trip to FanimeCon this year and that was a big trip for me. FanimeCon even had a 24-hour Asian drama room!! I've enjoyed every convention more than AX. Every other con tries a lot harder than AX to please the attendees and I think that's the way it should be. I was really impressed with the really small cons like Ani-Magic and Anime Los Angeles with how they listen to what the attendees want.
I also have Pacific Media Expo on Labor Day Weekend. This has become my favorite convention because I really like their programming. I'm still going to be around, but I probably won't be back at AX as an attendee for a while. I'd like to see some changes before I consider going back.
I know a lot of other people are frustrated with AX and complain year after year, but they keep returning and are willing to put up with it and I don't understand that mentality at all. _________________

yeah, not sure if i am going back. The customer service and AX staff, really could use more manners and streamline there operations. 5 plus hours of registering the first day, is just plain ridiciulous and stupid. But i probably would be more interested in other anime conventions.

yeah, went to the pacific media expo last year, was at the anaheim convention ctr also. It was so much less crowded but also the exhibit hall was much smaller, still got some figurines there. I think my collection is has grown, i like the PVC one's but they are expensive!. They had a very good selection of figurines at the AX05, but after day #4, it became redundant and i think i have seen enough, until the next expo or anime shop that has them.

Naruto figurines? i don't really recall seeing much of them at AX'05. I did see some of One Piece, the main characters, might have seen the one dude with a long nose and Luffy. Bought Nami from last years AX. I also remember seeing the one w/ blue hair in a genie outfit, probably the second series of One piece figurines. I eventually bought that one too. I am not sure which character you are interested from One Piece, I am not familar with "boat going merry" which one is that one? there are some online websites, have you tried www.animecorner.com or animepalace.com, think they had a booth there(anime palace), they had some good figurine selections there and at their store too.
good luck in your search for anime figurines.
