The uber-famous Japanese manga Gingatetsudo 999 aka Galaxy Express 999 has spawned a robotic receptionist of their heroine, Me-Teru, at the Kita-Kyushu airport (coincidentally the home town of Matsumoto-San, the seriesf manga-ka). The Me-Teru robot stands tall at 1.7m and is capable of answering up to 200 airport-related questions. Imagine seeing a fast-talking Spidey version in the Big Apple – gMy spider sense is tingling!h
According to KT, this is an anime that could possibly be a liva action drama, so I'm moving it to the J-Ent forum where there's a thread for this: http://www.jdorama.com/viewtopic.1542.htm

Yakitate 55 was funny
I just watched ep 1 of Ergo Proxy: things are pretty vague still, but things looks promising. It's dark(goth even), mysterious and somewhat cyberpunk styled show. (yes androids are infected with some kind of virus) You can really feel the WHR vibe in this show, some of the staffmembers worked on WHR/GITS/Samurai Champloo

Eve, i suggest stopping at ep 52, that's the end of the current arc your watching, otherwise, youll just be sitting and begging for the next eps to be releasedby the busy busy subbers.

haha do they show trailers or the whole episodes?
i actually believe they aired a whole episode....i recognized it only because i was fortunate enough to have seen the fansubbed version prior to coming across the window....obviously i didn't stay to see the whole thing but it wasn't "cut" like a trailer.
the japanese emphasis/love for distinctive presentation...never ceases to amaze.
