I am still obsessed with Naruto Shippuden. Ive watched up to ep 40 on Crunchyroll with only LQ as my laptop is older. Puppy Dog Eyes

How does it compare to the live action?

I couldn't make it past episode 2 of the anime version... Didn't seem to have the same energy or spirit...

I'm probably in the minority.
I guess I didn't really like the color palette of the live action, and it's not really that one has more energy or spirit than the other, just a different interpretation from the directors.

I think the live action feels "shoujo," while the anime feels "josei"

I enjoyed the 1st season NC anime a lot...

Excellent OP and ED...

More classical music than the drama (understandable since it was longer)...

Nodame's seiyuu absolutely nailed the voice...better than Juri...not surprising though,the seiyuu's credentials are awesome...just found out she was the voice of Mahoro in Mahoromatic, one of my favorite animes...

Finished Nodame. It was great. Liked it even more than the live action! Chiaki-kun was a more sympathetic character in the anime and less of a caricature. Anyone ever seen The Third? They started broadcasting it with subtitles on digital 18.2 last Saturday and it's pretty interesting so far....

actually, it's the second time they've broadcasted it, that I know of. Caught about half of it last time.

Im really hooked on the series I started the other night, Saiunkoku Monogatari. The artwork is so lovely. I love these semi-historical chinese theme animes like Twelve Kingdoms. Ive watched up through ep 6. and really enjoying the political plot line.

I'm here in this thread trying to get suggestions for anime movies to watch. It's been a while since I've watched any anime, so if anyone has any suggestions it'd be much appreciated. I'll read through the thread as well and see if anything piques my interest.
