Now they enter the training camp and the fun begins as they prepare for the final stage, set for December 10th, just two weeks from today. The future of Morning Musume is just weeks away, who will he pick? How many? everyone check this webpage out, and see for yourself.

i need to observe the video, and analysis, as to who is going to be possibly chosen. now's the time, pick your favorites, this is the future of MM.

also, check out these other websites for additional info on the audition for generation 8.

Excellent! Thanks.

Haven't looked at the links yet. But really hoping it's only 1 girl to be picked. 2 at the most.

i guess i think differently on this, i want Tsunku to choose all six of them, and make it 14 MM girls....bring them on! w00t!

realistically, i am hoping for atleast 3, if not 4 to be picked. who knows what the man will do....

The reason I want few to be picked is so more aren't graduated. Right now, Miki, Ai, and Hitomi are almost ready to leave. If Tsunku picks 3 or more, the justification for keeping the Miki, Ai, and Yossie is lessened.

For sure though, Tsunku is looking for good singers. Ai and Miki are the backbone on MM's vocals. Once they are gone who is left? Koharu and Reina. (Although I'm happy that Sayu has two leading parts now).

So, pick one. One good singer. Let Yossie graduate. Koharu improves during 2007 to become the main voice. Late 2007 or early 2008, let Ai and Miki go. Koharu, Reina, and the new girl from this round carry the group until the 2 or 3 newcomers in 2008 catch up.

Plus, if MM becomes huge again, there might be the urge to create two separate groups like Sakura and Otome gumi. This would not be good for the majority of fans that like Live Morning Musume.

although, a very good thought.....i really think Tsunku will pull a fastball and surprise us all....with choosing (??????), and leaving us to wonder, as the big three....Ai, Mikitty, and Yossie leaving all at once to graduate Puppy Dog Eyes the worse case is that MM is left shorthanded and gasping for more H!P air...and support.
I just hope they fulfill what is lacking in MM, it seems a lot of critics and even other MM fans are commenting on the lack of energy, and enthusiasm and popularity that MM once had...whatever that means, since i came on as a fan, during Konkon's last days as a MM member Puppy Dog Eyes
I just think everyone has their opinions on MM, even from a fan's perspective. The girl who posts on her journal...this one i am providing below this line, (she has some strong opinions on who she likes and does NOT like.....we don't necessarily have to agree with her, cause i don't on some of what she said..that is her (IMO's)...but she does provide good info on the auditions, thus, why i put it on this thread...
credit goes out to her for providing it...it was also at the other H!P forum as well...here's the link again, if you bother to read her ramblings...

they are losing some sort of fanbase and popularity, since the early days of Maki Goto, Natsumi Abe and early MM generations, but in all due respect to them, i only now focus on the "now" and post-generation 6's.....and now we have this.

I have yet to learn a lot of MM, H!P and what all this shuffle groups etc.....but i do know, that adding some MM members will bring new blood into the group, and a spark of energy that they need to grow more. Otherwise, prepare for the upcoming inevitable graduations that lay ahead for Yossie, Ai, and Mikitty, and who knows what other MM girl will step down....the future is uncertain, and Tsunku knows how to pull surprises, as he did in Konkon, Ai, Risa, and Mako's generation....was it 5th gen??

OK, the 3 posts read. And like you said, everyone has their own opinion. I just hope the fans don't get to "vote". Tsunku has been dead-on up to now. He's got the intuition. Actually, it'd be OK with me if Tsunku picked no one from the audition and just put someone into the gorup that he's had his eyes on secretly. That guy has the magic touch.

I don't know if the fanbase is diminishing. The sales might be lessening due to the high amount of pirating of official material. There's enough blame there for both the thieves and the H!P organization.

But really man, the 2005 and 2006 Concerts absolutely smoke the earlier years. Nobody can say that the current generation is less energetic. Things started to pick up in 2005 imo.

I'm waiting impatiently for that Odore Morning Curry DVD from this Fall to arrive. What a setlist. This is probably going to the best concert DVD ever. Don't know about best tour. But you remember what that guy posted about the shows in Fukuoka and Nagasaki. Yikes! That had to be hot.

you got a good point, Tsunku might just pick another miracle-koharu, and surprise us all, and call the auditions finale off...but highly unlikely..i say he will stick with it, and pick atleast one girl, of not 3 or 4...that is just my hunch....
but he pulls the strings and is the genius behind H!P, despite what others think of his ways...

from what i have seen so far, i am truly in awe of their concerts...and until i see a live one, i truly won't know the impact of their greatness...
I'll take your word for it though, and say that nobody can say the current generation is less energetic....cause it is ANYTHING BUT THAT....they are so full of energy, and Aruiteru kicks ass....such a great song, along with their past singles released...

but i don't quite remember what that dude posted on shows in Fukuoka and Nagasaki, guess i missed on that one... Doh!
I am just glad that i know of MM now, than ever, and there is so much more to learn and know about them.
