Just watched the 2nd ep.. Too bad the aired time in Japan coincided with the 'Japan vs Australia' Asian Cup qtr final soccer game which ended in extra time and a penalty shootout, thus pretty much wiped out the rating for the 2nd ep....
I guess I'm subconsciously attracted to exam related dramas as I've gone thru so many in my life...SAT/ACT, GRE, GMAT, etc...

Souka? Naruhodo! No wonder the rating suddenly dropped that much... _________________

Just watched ep. 3. I love this drama, but I've a feeling this will probably resonate more w/ people who had gone thru similar cut-throat schooling systems like in Hong Kong and may be Taiwan (not familiar w/ those in southeast asian countries but I suspect Singapore may be similar).
BTW I like the ending theme song. Looking it up in yesasia confirms my suspicion that it's written by Nakajima Miyuki. Her songs have a very distinctive style and I like most of them as long as she doesn't sing them herself. She's unquestionably a very talented song writer and lyricist, and she didn't look too bad either when she was young (and even now) but I just can't stand her voice.

Just caught up w/ ep. 5. I don't recall having had to learn the Fabonacci series in math classes at the elementary school level. Are the classes this advanced these days? Boy I'm really getting old...
