I'm not on the staff working on that series so I can't really comment but in general there is a lack of personel on the project. I'm sure they are doing their best trying to get it done.

I heard something about technical problems (temporary inaccessibilty of the source media). Although ep 3 may be completed soon.

Dvds or vcds have to be acquired, you know.
If you dont like jtv's pace of release, you may always buy them yourself.

Here is the news and I quote " L&F is on hold and GL 3 is almost done...". At least you get one out of the two. For L&F we need to acquire the dvd source which is not cheap. Thanks for supporting JTV.

When l&f was released it was not marked as a dvd rip. The torrent was replaced with one marked dvd rip that was of a slightly different quality and file size. IIRC - its been a while :p

and im sure i had two different versions of ep2 by jtv

and now ive varified it
on the #jtv torrent archives http://drama.afraid.org/japan-tv/torrent_archives.html. It lists two diff versions of both released eps. Ep1 has file sizes of 350mb for one and one over 400mb for the labelled dvd rip.

Seeing as both GTO and Summer snow have both been labelled as dvd, we can determine that due to the diff filesizes and labelling that the original releases of ep 1 and 2 are indeed tv rips.

Why bother releasing the same file from the same sourse twice at different filesizes? That would have made no sense

My turn, We at JTV like to do things well. And there are people who appreciated JTV doing HQ drama, for example Summer snow, Beautiful life, GTO and Long Vacation to come, etc. You people are starting to piss me off, bitching an moaning all the damn time. JTV staff have lives of our own, we don't belong to you and we do these dramas in our free time. Some of us even us our own money. Say thank you and quit being difficult.

Btw, do encode a VCD source with a much lower bitrate and tell me how the quality is. It all depends on how you encode the file.

I certainly appreaciate GTO and Summer snow because the #jtv releases are what got me into jdrama in the first place.

I certainly dont understand why you put that in this thread, when there was no negative words aimed at JTV or its staff - and there are better places for such a post.

If you dont want us to complain so much then some attempt should be made to inform everyone of what is happening. Its only recently that any infomation has actually been passed along. Now that you are asking for support maybe informing everyone on the jtv site of the current state of projects is a good idea? Im sure more donations would be made if more people were aware of the status of current projcts, not just forthcoming ones

Your efforts are very appreciated , but there will always be complaints when people are not informed. This is the internet after all

ohhhh you know a secret? Where is the JTV website? It's up? I thought it was still being created. People ask questions I answer when I know the answer. Put yourself in my position, think of how many times i am asked questions or get complaints. I make sure to reply to people who send emails to the JTV email. There is always someone who misses the information given somewhere (irc channels, forum, bittorent site) and assumes we never informed anyone since they don't know the information. (hope that sentence makes sense to someone)

well for now its safe to assume that by jtv website im referring to the site where the BT files are released. That seems like a jtv website to me....

After all it tells us about forthcoming series and donations....., just not whats happening with projects

Surely you should know that not everyone uses irc, not everyone uses bit torrent. Putting the info on both irc and your bit torrent site would ceratinly spread the info quicker then just telling the few who ask directly. It would also make forum postings of info more common and ppl woudlnt assume they now what is happening with your projects even though they have no idea.

Not everyone who asks directly is willing to post the info on a forum, and i dare say if i came in and asked in the channel theres a good chance im breaking a rule

All we ask for is a little more info to be posted where we can all see it - surely thats not too much to ask? A simple explanation of the delays to love and fight and good luck would not take long and would not need to be edited or updated until the shows are finish - post that on irc and the BT site and then more people will know, understand and share the info with the fellow fans.

I think you will get a lot more donations that way.

They are doing their best! Subbing is not very easy if you wan't to come out with High Quality material ya know?! Well if you guys like to complain about JTV then why don't you donate money to their group. Like buying them DVD sources for L & F. That would be nice if each of the leechers from this board donated $5-$10 since the JTV staff has been so great giving us subbed Jdrama. I mean do you guys think the english subs on vcd's of Jdrama are good? LoL sorry for the yelling.
