Ep. 3 is a big improvement over ep. 2. They played it fair and there's enough clues to piece together a theory. Just a bit too melodramatic for my taste; albeit probably a fair price to pay considering the star power of the guest involved.
From the preview, ep. 4 looks to be another cracker of a mystery...
I liked the way Ep 3 unfolded better than Ep 2 too. Could it have been due to the change in director? And I somehow was half-expecting Yukawa to launch into his usual phrase of "I totally don't know. It's very interesting." Like Utsumi pointed out.
I'm wondering whether Utsumi will be in danger next week. It somehow seemed the implication after watching the preview.

Wow, so many people liked ep3 more than 2
I personally liked ep2 more because it was extremely well-directed (especially that flashback scene where they showed the kid actually seeing the car from window) and the kid's guest performance was really good.

That scene where the kid kept insisting he left his body even after the explanation was really touching for me.
Episode 3 was all right, but I don't really like these ghost stories in dorama, and for some reason, the chemistry between Fukuyama Masaharu and Shibasaki Kou seemed really bad for me.

The guest stars delivered good performances in Ep 2 but I somehow found myself liking Ep 3 more.
I agree that the chemistry between Masha and Shibasaki Kou is a little off. They don't seem to be finding their footing even though they have lots of screen time together. There're only 10 episodes for this drama so there isn't much time left.

Hmmm...I don't think there's any ghost or paranormal phenomena in ep. 3. But yeah, it all depends on what you're looking for. I'm a huge mystery fan, so as long as the acting and directing don't suck, I'm willing to look past the poor chemistry if the writers can come up w/ good mysteries.

yeah, it's a bit hard since people watch trick would naturally compare them. I myself once wondering how if it's not fukuyama but hiroshi abe that plays as galileo. it would've be more fun and comedical
opps. i din tot of trick! no offence to trick's fans, but i prefer galileo more. maybe i was still young then watching trick.
but i feel that producers have their way to matching jus the leads. i tried imaging trick's guy with galileo's girl.. hmm.. the age... feels quite a gap. but this galileo pair looks better together yes? haha! jus my opinion!

Episode 4: Kusaru (Necrosis) Trailer Synopsis
Click on button to reveal/hide spoiler:
The drowned body of a young girl is found at a mansion's indoor pool. It seems that the incident had happened while her parents were away on a holiday. Postmortem findings indicate that the cause of death was heart failure. However, for some reason, a portion of the skin on the girl's chest is dead. Kaoru, who goes to visit Yukawa with this on her mind, asks him why the skin has necrotised. However, Yukawa says that this isn't a category of physics and sends her away.
One day, Yukawa, who has finished his speech at a physics society held at one of the universities, is hailed by a student. The student is Tagami Shoichi, who says he is impressed by the content of Yukawa's speech. He is a student of this university. Yukawa, who remembers Tagami's name, recalls a thesis. Having an interest in the thesis subject, Yukawa hands Tagami his name card and tells him to contact him anytime before parting with him. Then, Kaoru appears there. The girl who drowned, Shinozaki Reiko, was a student of this university.
Kaoru, who catches sight of Yukawa, approaches him to discuss the matter again but doesn't make contact. At that moment, she suddenly sees the words "dermatitis cutting edge technology" on a notice board. Thinking that she will understand the reason for the necrosis of the skin, Kaoru visits that lab and Tagami, dressed in a white coat, is there. Tagami, who has heard about the case from Kaoru ... ...
Guest stars:
Katori Shingo as Tagami Shoichi
Aoi Sora as Shinozaki Reiko
