The only guys keeping me interested from the first episode is Yokoyama Yu (from Kanjani8) who plays Seishiro, Kashii Yu & Minami who plays Yuri. Jin is not convincing, he's basically playing himself. Taguchi's acting hasn't improved one bit and don't let me talk about Suzuki Emi.

Overall, it's shallowness all the way. bleh

It's not just me... I think people are getting tired of the "pack a drama full o' pretty boys" mentality and want something more intelligent and substantial... Smile

Didn't Gokusen 2 teach you enough of a lesson? Beaten hehe

Gave up before end of ep. 1. It's been a long time since I've watched anything this bad and amateurish; I can't think of anything recent that's even remotely close bleh ...nuff said, don't want to spend any more time on this drama...appreciate the effort of the subbers nevertheless...

same as you b... but i just tried this drama... not because of JIN (Kat-Tun).. and see what the story is about and seems like shiroi_tora like this drama and actually she recommend me to watch it and give it a shot.. but still i got some irritation to Jin (the whole Kat-Tun, yes..) but i just gave a chance to the story and the other cast.. and i think its decent to watch.. but it depends whether i'll continue this one... sometimes beginning is great then suddenly it will drop.. Sweat

and yeah still Gokusen 2..

No need to make it a spoiler... It's common knowledge that the G2 sucks like a industrial shop vac. hehe

As everyone has mentioned Akanashi's acting is not that good....Miroku's dog was a good actor....and sooo cute too. I do agree that the shallowness of Bido is quite annoying....but it fits with how they are suppose to be. I thought it was good enough to keep watching...I might stop if it doesnt get better. The girl that played Yuri was funny.

Wow. It's not like I never left! Hahahahahahaha rofl

C'mon beem, you know that in every season, there's that drama that has the sole purpose of stocking their show with cheap linen-thin plots and pretty boys/girls. Shows that dumb the brain down and pokes at other senses. (no pun intended) but, I agree. G2 sucks like an industrial shop vac. I might opt to choose "rechargeable" vacuums instead though.

It's a worry when you have to single out a dog for it's acting...

I actually really like the mangaka who penned the original manga that this drama is based off of (Ichijou Yukari) so I was disappointed with this. I wasn't expecting much ever since I heard who the members of the main cast were, and watching the first episode just crushed whatever little expectation I had. "Yuukan Club" is Ichijou Yukari's most popular series to date, but at the same time (I think) it's her most mediocre series in terms of originality, depth, characterization, etc. etc. She's written so many wonderfully thought out stories, so I don't see why they're picking the worst of the bunch. Why can't they do drama adaptations of "Suna no Shiro"?
