Hehe! it's not that far away, depends on where you look at it
This is how it all began (Pemu's history in brief):
It started from the video games, I used to play lotsa 2D beat em ups and PRGs. RPGs got manga characters with their big eyes and cuteness. Anime and manga got took my attention. After watched and read numerous of series, I loved anime music. Had to find out the musicians who were behind such great series! I listened to a lot of anime music as Japanese culture drew me closer and closer.
Pemu, a jdrama fan since 2002, yes, quite a newbie.
Known jdorama.com for few a years. Many fave idols changed for the past years! There is one and only idol I have never changed my feelings toward her! *can't reveal her name*
Thanks for the people who bothered to read my dull post! |
hehe that was cool story.....i got into japan way back when i was in elemntary and some "asian"....( i din't know what Nat. they were) ladies came 2 talk to us little kids.....
anyway they came 2 talk to us about their culture and show us some asian thing......i remeber the first time i saw them...they had really light sking and flawless faces...i tought they looked like angels!!!! they showed us their money and taught us some oregami...(hey that was cool was back in the 3rd grade!)
anyway i when i was in jr. high i really started to look into "japan" in the early slow 28kb modem internet age!.... but i found cool stuff like samurais and stuff...so i began to study their history/culture then i really got into j-cinema and stuff....then into j-pop and found that some voice signers did dramas...so i looked into it and i saw my first j-dorama in high school ....i was hooked!.....i'm 20 now and stuff...but i've loved j-dorama since i was 16!!!! i think.....jdorama fan since 1997 i think....

it's really interesting to know how pple gets into Jdorama and stuff!!! | Agreed! It all started from games/music/culture which had something with Japan. Then the interest go its own ways, like mine from games to anime and finally to jdrama! I wonder what my next interest is. Maybe JAV or enka? HOHOHO
Anyways Enka is pretty nice! Soothin and melancholy songs about heartbroken, relationship and the society

On tv
I remember when I was small kiddo back then. Mom took me to a toy store a few days before Christmas. There was this "real" Father Christmas sittin on the chair and queues were huge. I waited for some time and finally it was my turn to wish. I sat on his lap and he asked me what I wanted for a christmas present. I was so nervous and didn't know what to wish for. instead of thinkin I accidentally pulled his beard off
Oh Boy! He got embarrased in front of the kids. "That is no real Father Christmas!"
He said to me playfully "You've been a naughty boy this Christmas! I cannot give you a big present this time!" He gave me a lollipop instead!
My first and last time with Father Christmas |
that's fuuny! father christmas must be so furious back there.
