Seriously. That was uncalled for. U Suck

But anyways, how about trying one of those slick casual suits with a dress shirt and some slacks? My advice is to not fuss about the small things. The reason you're there is to make some memories and enjoy the time you have left with your friends. Chances are, you won't be seeing a lot of them after your graduation unless you're really close with them.

Oh, and don't be an idiot like me and not enjoy yourself. Not telling ya! Doh!

The only thing I would suggest is to make sure that whatever you wear coordinates with what your date is wearing. I understand that you want to be unique and all, but your date may have other ideas. If you do agree with this, the next suggestion would be to either take a photo of your date's dress, or take a sample of the dress itself, such as a strap that goes around her waist. Take one or more of those items with you when you go out to shop for your outfit. Even better, take your date with you because her opinions is just as important as yours. The important thing to this is that the color of her dress coordinates with your outfit. More likely photos will be taken with you and your date together, so years from now you don't want to look really strange. =^-^=

Exactly. If you're not cool, you should just kill yourself. Like right now!

Who cares about anything else if you're not popular. God, I hope the kids at school like my new clothes, I'll just die if they don't. Ugh.

By the way, MTV RULEXZ!!11

Although I dig the comedic factor here, please try not to troll the thread. Thanks. Smile

Just wanna' clarify . . . your graduation AND prom are on the same night? Same month? Man, that's two big events in the same month, eh?

I've been liking the black suit, light colored tie (matching handkerchief), white shirt look lately. And if I had the opportunity. In Nick Fury's most recent series, he sported a black suit, black tie, white shirt and black overcoat throughout, and THAT just looked TOO BAD@$%; I'd try that, personally. Yeah, but, you talking to a guy who dresses in Aloha shirt, black slacks and black shoes M-F, so, no real op' to dress in suits on a regular basis. It's a good thing if you ask me. Applaud .

I had absotively no interest in going to either of my proms; it kinda' made sense when I look back on it -- junior and senior years I was working feverishly on scholarships for university and, well, concentrating on that paid off greatly.

I had much pals in high school, but, somehow, I'm glad I didn't go (no aged pics to remind me for starters hehe ). Not going is an option (regarding prom, that is; please DO attend ya'll's graduation).

Follow your heart. Look at styles. GQ's fashion issue is still out, I think (Justin Timberlake's on the cover); that's always a good resource for contemporary men's fashion. Hey, don't laugh. I mean, even if you can't afford those same duds, at least you can get some ideas.

Aloha.

Ohhh prom night. Hahaha, we usually have those at around May here. Clothing wise, I just pick whatever the people at the rental recommends. Oh but make sure you match with your date! Anyways, it should be a blast as long as you're with the right person you go with Mr Green

Have fun, since it's a night to remember, just try not to break up with your date not too long after graduation Beaten

Since we were talking about matching earlier, does that mean that your date is going to wear a white dress? Beaten

Nothing wrong with that, man . . . was the standard in my day. I finally got to wear the same kinda' tuxes being part of wedding pah-ties and all, when some of my friends started getting married. You really feel like 007 once in the tux', eh?

Thanks for playing, eightysix.
