T-T Rats, I curse you TiVo and your incorrect TV schedule!
I'll just have to go download the first episode or something. Thank you for the information!
Half way thru episode 1 and Aoi has showed up! ralph should be happy!
I am happy and recording like mad. She looks just like she looked in Nana. I'm having trouble figuring out what's going on most of the time which is the Taiga trademark - keep em in the dark - but will continue watching because of you know who.
Let us guess: an actress of Academy Award caliber who'll turn genius the day she'll pose in a bikini.
Is a sign of appreciation of her acting talent?
Oh. She can act too?
Well. I fell in mad like with her after Nana. So I will try to see more of this taiga maybe even the whole series. And despite her great beauty she is also a great actress.
So far this drama has the usual taiga affliction of no flow from scene to scene, choppy like mangas which I despise. On the other hand it will not matter then if I miss an episode here and there as the jump from scene to scene will just seem like a normal taiga flow.

I'm going to have to pass on this one. Based off one episode, it looks all right and the acting is good, but I can see it's going to be pretty dry. Guess I prefer the Sengoku ones more.

The story makes no sense yet.... just a lot of the clones talking to each other but who can keep track of who is talking to who.
Boy, you said it! About 20 minutes into this, I was bored out of my skull, nothing is making any sense, so out of reflex, I started flipping around the channels. I get to channel 56 and they're showing The Mummy's Hand starring Dick Foran and Cecil Kellaway. I stayed there for the rest of the night. Aitsu Hime shows all the signs of being another Yoshitsune

A storyline that looks like it's going somewhere, some character development. By this point in Fuurin Kazan I had some feel for what Kansuke was about. The characters of Haizo and Mitsu had been introduced and a relationship was developing between those three. So far, Aitsu Hime has none of that. I'm not giving up on it yet, but if things don't start to improve pretty soon, looks like I'll be finding something else to do between 9 and 10 on Saturday nights.

So this series isnt that great then? It started airing in Hawaii a couple weeks ago and I only caught the ending parts of the second episode. I found it to be ok, but maybe the latter episodes might be better. I might record it if I remember to next week. _________________

It depends if you wanna gawk at Miyazaki Aoi or not.
If that's the case, then I probably wouldn't watch it. I thought the exchange between her character and the boy was kinda cute, so it got me slightly interested. Not sure about the other scenes though. I'm not a Taiga fan, but I might record it just in case. Who knows? It may just turn out to be a good one. _________________
